S	Sharon Weitzel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel. We have wanted to stay here since we saw the place 3 years ago on our way to the west coast. The pool and indoor hot tub was great but the very best thing was the outdoor hot tub ..... it was glorious. Even with Covid it was worth the stay for us. The hotel was complying with the 2x vaxed rules and we appreciated the safety. A lovely, clean room, beautiful view and decent breakfast offerings. Take out was available from Boston Pizza (attached to the hotel) so we were well taken care of.

I was also not informed of the possibility of a rate change at time of booking but regardless my review stands. Had a good stay at the best western this weekend without complaints on the stay at all. I was booking a hotel room for a wedding, the wedding was to be at this hotel so I naturally inquired on the rate as I almost booked another hotel. When I booked the room in July over the phone I was given one rate that wasn’t much more than the other hotel I was considering so it was worth being in the same hotel as the wedding reception. 24 hours before our stay i had gotten an email stating the rate went up by almost $50 a night, I had called as soon as I received this email to see why that was the case because I would not have booked this hotel if that was a thing. I was then told that they forgot to tell me that if a certain number of people didn’t book the hotel for the wedding then this rate would apply. Ridiculous. Not even enough notice for me to cancel the booking and book at the other hotel. Thanks. Won’t be staying there ever again just for that reason. L

While I had called the reservation system in advance of our impending stay to see if there were any alternative channels for rebooking, they created a ticket and assured me they would contact the team in Fernie. However, I neither received any information on a possible refund or rebook nor did the Fernie team return my call when I left a voicemail. Unfortunately, we will most likely not be booking here again due to the lack of response.

I got a king room with a balcony on the 4th floor and it was 100% not worth the price. First of all the walls were paper thin, I could hear everything going on in the room next door and everything going on in the hallway. Then I decide to have a shower, I go to get out and the entire floor was sopping wet, including the clothes I had just taken off. Also the water pressure left much to be desired. The bed was just plain uncomfortable to me but that is a person prefrence I guess (scratchy sheets and odd feeling matress texture and firmness) The room was clean and looked nice. Lastly the parking lot is a complete hazard, I almost cut someone off because there is no way to see what's going on unless you pull out into the road (I understand that the hotel has no control over this but I thought people should be aware.) I would not recommend this place due to the 4 star price at a 2 star quality.
A	Amir Rezaee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Housekeeping could’ve been done better. I had to take a shower with lukewarm water even though tap was all the way up towards hot water, which was very refreshing! Fitness room is very small and uncomfortable for 2 person work out same time. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
c	c hudson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice looking king room on the third floor. Come night time it was one of the loudest hotels I have been in. It reminded me of a work camp. You could hear everything from the floor above as well as beside your room. You could hear drawers opening and closing and people walking around above you. Pretty sure they forgot the sound proofing in this hotel.
