★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice little hotel in downtown Trail, BC. The room was very nice and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. We even got a great rate because we were referred by a sister hotel that was full!
Sadly, due to Covid, some things you might expect are missing. Maid service is only available upon request. The restaurant was closed and the complimentary breakfast has been replaced by a brown paper bag with a bottle of water, muffin, apple, and granola bar. Kind of lame compared to the usual breakfast fare. The business centre was also closed due to the pandemic but the front desk manager graciously went above and beyond and printed an important document for me in the back office.
I would definitely stay here again and I recommend the hotel. Parking is free and there is a liquor store around back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very clean hotel. I had an awesome sleep ?. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that there was no complimentary breakfast as advertised. Other than that, everything was fine. Thank you, Best Western, for a good night's sleep

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a frustrating experience from the booking process to check-in. The staff was disorganized (we had a long phone call with them before arriving and the person at check-in had no knowledge of this; so everything we were promised to fix the original booking mistake was then denied at 11pm when we showed up and had nowhere else to go). A woman who worked there was incredibly rude and actually yelled at me when I tried to bring my emotional support dog in the building. She was confirmed to be allowed in our original booking so that was confusing. Yelling at us wasn’t necessary; calm communication would have worked. Wouldn’t stay here again and would have made a different choice if it weren’t for what the staff on the phone had falsely promised - felt pretty misled and sad to end our week on this note! Unfortunately crossing Best Westerns off the future list.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice. Clean. Has a newly renovated Columbia steakhouse attached. Big dining area. Lots of room for larger semi privet party’s. There special was delicious. Ask for a medium rare you get medium rare. Hope the menu gets a whole bunch longer thou.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed just overnight but it was a great sleep in a super clean comfortable bed & the room was clean. Everything has been redone & mostly modern & streamline.
Had a great cup of in-room coffee first thing in the AM made in the coolest little single-cup coffeemaker.
Got an 11AM phone call from Front Desk to confirm departure time & they were ok with 1/2hr late Checkout!
Definately would stay again!!

The Hotel Manager, Jessica and her staff really made us feel welcome and appreciated!
The building was charming and located in a very convenient location in downtown Trail, close to many amenities and walking paths.
The rooms were beautifully updated, well kept, meticulously clean and very comfortable.
We look forward to staying at the Best Western Plus in Trail, BC the next time we are visiting!
