Unless you a regular clients, they don't give warm welcome. Staff there don't smile and they look like they are not happy working there.

My first mistake was walking in here. If I could give half a star I would. I have attached two photos. The one without my thumb showing is my left hand and the one with my thumb is my right hand. As you can see there a small bit of peeling and chipping with some on my skin as well. I wanted to remove my acrylic nails with gel polish quickly because it's been over three weeks and it was lifting. So, I checked on google where the closes nail salon to me was. It was here. I walked in and had to wait by the empty receptionist desk for awhile until one of the nail techs asked me what I wanted. She didn't come up and ask me. She yelled across the room. I don't think that's very good customer service. She could've stopped and came up or ask one of her other co-workers to help me. I yelled across the room asking for acrylic removals with gel polish. At least they fit me in quickly as a walk-in. The nail tech took off most of my acrylics but left a little on the end of nails in order for it to be stronger. That's okay, but what's not is that she could have filed the top off evenly. There were slight bumps that you could see after it was done. I know she saw that my nails were lifting, but she didn't sand down the lifted parts either. I was definitely not satisfied and voiced that she needed to file it down a bit more. I think she heard and ignore my small request. She also sanded a bit of my cuticles as she mentioned that it was $8 to do it. Which I think is a ridiculous price as most salons don't charge for a cuticle cut. Anyways, on to my gel nails. I asked them to keep my natural nail length but to make them look as even in length and shape as possible. I chose an IBD Gel polish. They had an okay but smaller collection than I was use to. The nail tech did not use a proper gel base coat. Instead she used a clear glitter gel polish informing me that the gel colour would stick to my nails better. I don't think so because my nails started peeling before the day even ended. Usually, gel polished would last me two weeks if done correctly even if I was in the pool. She layered the polish on four times before there was even a decent opacity that I liked. How she painted it was uneven and patchy on the third layer, so I had to request for another one layer. The nail tech at least shaped my nails well enough. I had to pay $45 plus tax that comes out to $47 for a dissatisfied removal and gel polish. I felt cheated out of my nail salon experience as I go in to relax and feel pretty for myself. Here I left annoyed and wasted my hard earn money. So annoyed that I had to go home after work (around 9:30pm) and remove everything by myself and do it right. I am definitely not coming back and would not recommend to any of my friends. I’m so angry at them that I had to review on Yelp and here as well.

This is a great nail salon. The staff are friendly and nice. They always say hello. It is generally easy to get an appointment. You can get your manicures, pedicures and even a wax. They have nice pedicure chairs that massage you while you get your feet done. It is very clean and safe. The staff are still wearing masks.
