Bedhead Boudoir

I have been following Krysten on social media for a while now, and I have always wanted to do a boudoir photoshoot with her. 2021 was overall an extremely difficult year for me - mentally, emotionally and physically. Krysten and I talked about booking a photoshoot for a while and I FINALLY booked one in December of 2021 for January of 2022. A couple of days before my session, I expressed a few of my body insecurities to Krysten. She was very understanding and I cannot express how much I appreciate her ❤️ The moment I met Krysten, I knew we were going to become really good friends. She radiates positivity, love, kindness and empowerment; her vibe is contagious. Her makeup and hair artist (Emma) transformed me into a GODDESS. Throughout my session, Krysten made me feel very comfortable and confident in my skin - I can honestly say it was/is a judgement free zone. Krysten helped me find my inner Goddess again, and brought my confidence back to life. I met another fantastic woman (Veronica) during my session, and she helped me feel comfortable and confident as well. Not only did I gain my confidence back, but I also gained strong, beautiful, empowering and courageous women/friends who constantly remind me how beautiful I am. When Krysten and I were discussing and picking photos to add into my album, I almost cried … happy tears ❤️ Let me tell you!! Krysten did an AMAZING job with the layout of my album and the quality is fantastic. If there is one piece of advice I can give to the person reading this, it is … DO THE PHOTOSHOOT! Do the photoshoot for YOU. We sometimes spend too much time and energy trying to impress other people, or we do things to make other people happy. Put that time and energy into yourself and make YOURSELF happy. Make YOURSELF a priority and always remember that you are beautiful. At the end of the day, you are your longest commitment. Put yourself first … always.

Where to begin Krysten was a dream to work with from start to finish! Her work speaks for itself but what you don's get to see from the photos is how supportive she is. Taking boudoir photos can be intimidating and leave you feeling vulnerable, but Krysten and her team make you feel relaxed and beautiful. I recommend everybody takes the opportunity to shoot with Krysten. I left feeling confident, sexy and proud of myself. Most definitely worth every cent and the investment in yourself.

I had an amazing experience with Krysten. After looking at her instagram page for a few weeks I felt compelled to book a Boudoir session with her and I am so glad I did! I have wanted to do a photoshoot for about 10 years and Krysten was the perfect person to do it with. Right from the booking until you receive your photos you can tell she cares so much about your entire experience. I loved that the hair and makeup is a part of the photoshoot experience too as it makes the process so much more enjoyable and seamless. I was definitely nervous going into the shooting but Krysten was the ultimate hype girl- making sure I felt comfortable and confident the entire time. She helped guide for poses to help ensure the best angles. After seeing all my images I ended up loving so many of them and it was tough narrowing it down to just 12. The images are STUNNING and it's hard to believe that it's me in them. Krysten is an amazing photographer. The entire experience is an investment and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that's been wanting to do a Boudoir photoshoot. I feel much more confident about my body since doing this shoot which is such a great feeling. Later down the road I would love to do it again!

I showed up to my shoot feeling very uncomfortable. I was wearing an over-sized plaid shirt, because that is all I could fit into 6 months pregnant, with colostrum stains all over it. But as soon as I sat down in the chair I was made to feel like a princess. The makeup artist was super professional and kind, and she made me feel really confident. Krysten did an amazing job my whole shoot at making me feel sexy, and I soon felt very comfortable in front of the camera. The photos I got are things I am going to cherish forever. They show just beautiful pregnancy really is. I highly recommend booking a photoshoot with Krysten to document the beauty of pregnancy.

Fist off I’m so happy I took the leap and had this experience with Krysten. I have to say from the very beginning(me inquiring) Krysten is the reason I decided to book the shoot. I personally am a very private person with anyone outside my inner circle. The idea of being photographed by a stranger was hard for me. Add less clothing into the mix and my anxiety is super high. Krysten was beyond encouraging, uplifting and understanding to every worry I voiced to her. So I booked the session after speaking to Krysten a second time(and truly because she took the time to speak with me) I almost cancelled the shoot 7 times… including the morning of. So thankful I didn’t. When I got to the studio I met Krysten for the first time as well as Emma and right away felt more at ease. Both to me had such a welcoming, reassuring vibe and it’s what I needed! Emma started my makeup and we had great conversation while she worked pure magic on my face! Krysten then helped me choose my final outfit choices and we started. Krysten was beyond amazing with helping with poses, positing my hair (lol) and just uplifting me. I didn’t even notice how fast the time went by because I was having such a great time. The whole time I didn’t feel out of place or uncomfortable, I felt beautiful and accepted. I can’t thank Krysten enough for that feeling. When my photos were revealed on the zoom call, I tried with everything to hold my emotions back. It wasn’t possible. I ugly cried for sure. The women I was looking at looked super confident, beautiful and at ease. As Krysten stated that women is me. I solely did this for myself and I can’t explain how grateful I am to Krysten for the final outcome of my album and experience. You changed the way I look at myself with little clothing on, thank you. ♥️

I knew I wanted to work with Krysten the moment I saw her work. The best way I can describe the energy of her photos is reality but better: warmer, softer and ethereal. Not only is she obviously a very talented individual, but is truly and kind and wonderful person I’m happy to call a friend now. Before the session she was very informative when it came to all the questions I had, and on the day of the shoot she made me feel welcome and comfortable immediately. Emma did my hair and was an absolute sweetheart too. Leading up to our session I questioned whether or not I was ready, both mentally and physically I was doubting myself. But after receiving all of my photos I can say it was one of the best decisions I could have made. She captured me in a way I’ve never been able to, and now I have these pictures to keep forever. Thank you Krysten for the beautiful photographs and the beautiful experience in your gorgeous studio. You’ve brought me a step closer to expressing my most authentic self. I’m grateful for you.

My experience with Krysten was so much fun! I was super nervous when I arrived as I had never done anything like this before! Within minutes Krysten made me feel comfortable and totally relaxed. My hair and make up was gorgeous. I felt amazing! During the photo shoot Krysten walked me through everything in a way that seemed really natural. We had many laughs throughout as well. My friend had also done a photo shoot and Krysten let us do an in person reveal together in the studio where we got to see our pictures up on the wall with a projector! We had so much fun. Could not believe how awesome the pictures turned out! I definitely recommend doing this. Kristen is very talented at what she’s does and you won’t be disappointed!

I cannot say enough good things about Krysten. She captured my pregnancy so beautifully and exceeded my expectations. Her space was beautiful and comfortable. I truly enjoyed the entire experience and I am in love with all of my photos. I will definitely be booking again! <3
