★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think as public servants, they ought to be a bit better. People openly watching the news/playing games at their work station.
Out of 7 people they have there, 4 Admin/security people, and only 3 workstation open (Overhead of 4:3).
The workstation people were relatively nice.
A bit sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a passport renewal and was told ServiceOntario does not cater to the request; was referred to Passport Canada in North York.
Utterly disappointed: not only due to lack of services needed by vast majority of Barrie population, but also because I called the office prior to going in person and was assured of ServiceOntario’s competence in passport related issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended 3 weeks ago to have my passport renewed. While waiting in line outside, the line wasn't that bad, really. A young woman at the desk checked over my application, & asked me to fill in an address even though I have been retired since Jan. 1,2011. No problem, I did as she asked. I provided
my passport & she asked me if I wanted it back. I said to her.."no, that belongs to the Gov't". The passport had not expired., & I'm with the understanding that passports must be sent with the application especially if it is still "live". I'm sure she sent the passport along with
the paperwork to wherever it is supposed to go. I was given a reference
#, which doesn't do me any good for checking as to the status of my application for renewal. The anticipated mailing date is May 30/2022
so we'll see if indeed I get the new passport a few days after May 30.
All in all, I was given good service.
