This continued in subsequent appointments, as we worked through some difficult issues, with her guiding me in the process. I liked how she balanced being supportive with also asking probing questions, and giving solid next steps. She is thoughtful in her responses. I appreciate her Christian perspective. I saw a dramatic improvement in my personal life within a couple of appointments, so it is well worth the money. I encourage anyone who is struggling with issues in their lives to contact Tanis.

When discussing personal challenges, I found Marcelina to be cold, and there was minimal to no trace of a genuine demeanor. Marcelina lacked sincerity and her responses seemed scripted and robotic. I was also given the impression that obtaining my session fee was more important than providing support. I wanted to share my experience in hopes that others will err on the side of caution if they are considering accessing support through this service. I left my sessions feeling discouraged rather than uplifted.

She is very professional, patient, listens intently and provides very practical and helpful strategies that have been invaluable to us. Our one on-one sessions with her were great as well. She was very empathetic to my situation specifically and we have never found her cold or “robotic”, but rather she is cheery, warm and inviting. She guides us through conflict resolutions professionally and with empathy to both of us. The relationship between my husband and I has strengthened more than we thought it could since seeing Marcelina and we are so thankful for her. I did see Tanis years ago as well and adored her too and will certainly see her if/when I need individual counselling again. My MIL also has seen Tanis in the past and has nothing but amazing things to say about her as well. I recommend Words of Hope to everybody. ☺️
