My friends and I here stayed for 3 nights and we were banned by the host. According to the site, quiet time is effective 11-7 am. We adhered to this rule however Wayne avoided the topic once we brought it to question. I couldn't care less about the ban because I do not want to return here. However, if I'm going to be banned for unjust reasons based on double standards and no prior warning, then we have a problem. The other campers played music very loudly, if not even louder. They were not confronted by the host because they're not POC. There is an obvious lack of professionalism in this place. Best of luck to any POC wanting to come here. Also, the view is splendid. Cheers!

Wonderful campgeound just outside Kelowna/West Kelowna. We've stayed here (tent camping) a few times now and had a delightful experience each time. Very well maintained rest rooms with showers, plus sites available with power. Was very satisfied that there tent-suitable sites with power in addition to the parking lot sites that most campgrounds limit powered sites to. Highly recommended.

We love this campsite. I used to camp there many years ago until the host at that time decided that tenters weren't worthy campers and she had to save all the best sites "in case a trailer in need showed up" Anyways - SO glad we chanced going back again, the camp host now (Santa Wayne) is amazing. He looks like Santa, has all kinds of cool stuff to keep up the image, my son was dazzled (and frankly, I felt like there was something magical about him too...) - it was really neat. The place itself is stunning, the view is unbeatable. And honestly, the cleanest outhouse I have ever used! My son asked if we can always go there to camp from now on. I like to travel around and see different places, but we will definitely be back at some point. Also, I cannot thank Santa Wayne enough for saving us! The night we left it was quite late, it had been raining, the road was slippery, and I was tired, and I got myself botched up with my cargo trailer at the top of the hill out, started slipping and spinning my wheels, which resulted in a bit of a jackknife. I did all I could, but was afraid I was just making it worse. I had to go down and ask him for help. Poor guy was just getting out of a shower, but he got dressed and came out and saved our butts - talk about ABOVE AND BEYOND! My eternal gratitude to this man for not only providing us with the amazing trip we'd already had - but for keeping our trip from ending in a nightmare. Thank you Santa Wayne!

Nice small campground with walk-in tenting on the beach. No services, just pit toilets. 15kms of dirt road with some bumpy sections.

Awesome place! Great family spot. Tons of kids when we went which was great for my daughter. We went without a reservation and had 4 sites to choose from. 2 forest walk ins and 2 beach spots. We had a huge tent that would not have worked in the forest sites. They have small pads but it is super shaded and had a great feel. They have a barrel on wheels to help with lugging stuff to the beach because it is not a pull in site. No tables on the beach but we did amazing without one. Sunny and hot when we went and we had access to the water anytime which was great. Will go back for sure here. Host was great and made sure to make the rounds multiple times on the weekend to make sure people were respecting the place.

We loved this campground! We only camped for one night, but it was perfect. Our site was large, and far enough away from the other sites that noise or space wasn't a concern at all. The host, Santa, was an absolute gem. A very kind human with a lighthearted and welcoming attitude. He kept his distance from us when we went to chat with him which reassured me that people are taking the pandemic seriously even out in the wilderness. We brought our own firewood with us but there was some available on site if we needed it. From what I could tell, there was only one singular outhouse. Not a huge deal and didn't seem to put a damper on anyone else, but felt kind of uncomfortable during covid times (of course I would hope everyone was following distancing and sanitizing as much as possible either way). The water was a bit high so we weren't able to walk along the beach as far as we would have liked, but it was a great view anyways. Only one trail nearby for walking/hiking, and it's off of the main road so not too safe during daytime hours with logging trucks rumbling past, and probably unsafe due to animals at night. Not an ideal spot for hiking, but tenting itself was wonderful. Prior to our visit, I was a little concerned about the 15km gravel road so I wanted to mention that. **I drive a hatchback, a little Mazda2, and we made it no problem.** Yes, the road is full of pot holes. Most of them are avoidable but you do need to watch what you're doing, and be careful of other vehicles coming around the curves. Many curves you cannot see ahead of you and if someone comes ripping around it would not end well. We honked at the curves and hills where visibility was very bad to signal to other drivers to slow down as we were approaching each other, which definitely worked in our favour a couple of times. On the way up, there were large rocks all over the road for a few km. Those were more difficult to avoid, but we didn't have a choice at that point. There were trucks driving up and down the road to push the rocks aside/flatten it a bit but we didn't get the benefit of that until we left the next day. It was dry the day we went, but even if the road had been wet and muddy I don't think my car would have had any issues reaching the campground.

Beautiful campground! Not many amenities, just pit toilets. You also don't get phone service here, so you get to enjoy the nature without any technology distractions. It might be a little challenging to get to if you don't have a 4WD/AWD car though. You have to drive a dirt road for a while to get here, and it's pretty bumpy. The campground host was very friendly. We are still camping beginners, and he gave us some tips! Also, his two dogs were very cute. We really enjoyed our time here.
