★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful spot. Water was fairly high and swimming was wonderful. A few more mosquitoes than I would like, so it's a good idea to bring some repellant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little lake with so many wonderful camping spot options. We brought or dog, kept him on a lead and he had a lot of fun too. Aside from some campers playing music through to the morning hours one night, it was a perfect trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so easy to get to. Spent a few days here this week. Beautiful spot, the lake with the mountains in the background was breath taking. Lots of sites all around the lake. Swimming is possible here. I swam and saw many others swim and no one got leeches on them. Kayaking the little lake was very relaxing. Cleanest user maintain recreational site I've been to. Thank you!
Downside
Generators go almost all day and night. Although there are many sites it looks like people set up in to hold the site for when they can get out.
But still you should check this place out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You're basically camping on a golf course water hazard, complete with drunk carts ripping around. The things ive seen there are baffling.
Including the 26" rainbows i can pull out.
Water level varies by almost 50 feet according to locals. Not a bad site. No fun police so it can get loud.
Not much cover at the water. Loads of nasties in the water (leeches, water scorpions, toe biters) which is great for fish.
If you described the spot to me i would probably avoid it but somehow i really like it... probably just the easy drive / big fish factor.
