This quiet, peaceful campground, is nestled in the forest near the base of the Rocky Mountains! A haven for wildlife, and campers alike, the campsites are built within 17 of the 80 forested acres that make up the Fort Steele Campground, providing lots of room for hiking and mountain biking, without leaving the premises! 
We are dog friendly, providing a large off leash area, and there are fire pits on EVERY campsite!
Close to lots of different activities, our campground has become famous for our exceptionally clean, heated swimming pool, not to mention your incredibly friendly hosts - Rhonda, Bob and Verne! No wonder the majority of campers are return visitors! Perhaps we'll see you too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I was a kid we stayed at this campsite every year. Decided to take my kids there this year and was not disappointed. The people running the campground are great, super friendly, and helpful. There is a small playground, swimming pool, and various small sports that you can borrow equipment for, along with some nature trails you can go exploring on right from the campground. The bathroom/shower house is kept clean, and showers are free!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in on a Saturday evening, no problem getting a spot. Bob was welcoming and friendly along with Vern. Clean washrooms + showers. Campground is hidden in a treed area though the campsites are not private.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was unwilling to accommodate small tent after family bought two sites they wanted to charge the person with the small tent as much as a full site even though I would be parking on one of their sites. if you do decide to stay here make sure you pay night by night as they are very unwilling to refund. Really dirty the wind kicked out most the dirt on the roads. There's another campground not too far away $10 more a night definitely worth the upgrade would highly recommend staying at the Fort Steele resort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute, small and quiet campground near Fort Steele Heritage center. Our first non-reservation experience was a great success!! Nice little pool, friendly staff, and clean facilities. Reasonably priced for a small family operation. We'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended, quite. 1/2 mile off the main highway. Rhonda and Bob are very friendly and welcoming. Full service lots, swimming pool. Clean bathrooms. They only accept cash but it’s so worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bob ,Vern and Rhonda are very nice people, the campground is very quiet water at every site even in the tenting area. Lots of area for your Tent and gazebo and your vehicle. Washrooms are small but very clean and lots of hot water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Campers this is a hidden gem at Fort Steele that you don’t want to miss. The owner’s are wonderful people who a most accommodating and Vern their assistant is a great person to say the least. There is lots of space in each site with water and electricity. Wash rooms where alway clean but are a little tight. The only thing I would have like to seen is paper towels in them so I could have cleaned the sink up after I used it and so it would be ready for the next person. All in all this is a great place and great people
