★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this trail, however I have run into a bear every single time I've gone in the summer months. Never a negative encounter but have your wits about you. Snowshoeing in the winter is fantastic on this trail! Great for beginners. Can be a little damp after heavy rains or melt, but nothing waterproof hiking shoes can't help with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice but not the most exciting views. Only get to see the lakes for a quick bit, and no benches to rest/view at. Was very wet when I went. Must also really watch out for tons of bear droppings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not maintained at all, large swampy damp/wet spots where you have to cross via logs, then your daughter falls into said swamp, and ruins her new white nikes.
Then being the amazing father I am, proceeded to carry said daughter on shoulders for 78%
Of the remaining trail.
Needless to say this trail is poorly kept, long grass swamp areas and very limited view of the lake itself.
Scenery is boring for the most part. Do another trail

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good trail with lots of trees. It can be challenging when it is wet. Lot's of animal wastes on the trail and won't see much other than trees for a while. Recommend to go with a group of people and bring a bear spray.
