About Glenview Cottages
After exploring Sault Ste. Marie and the Algoma area there is no better place to relax than Glenview Cottages. Spend time with that special someone or have fun with the entire family. Walk the hiking trails, take a dip in the outdoor pool, and play a game of horseshoes or a game of pool. In the evening enjoy a campfire and gaze at the stars.
We offer free wireless internet access for all of the cottages and most of the campground sites so you can stay connected on your travels. We also have a coin-op guest laundry room and a book/magazine exchange.
The outdoor pool will open in mid-June (weather permitting).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rented the honeymoon suite for a weekend and had the worst experience. No pride in their establishment whatsoever. Barely any amenities in the cottage. Horrible water pressure (two shower heads but only enough pressure to use one), prehistoric Wi-Fi and poor customer service. I couldn’t believe the experience I got for the price I paid. I would not recommend staying here, save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place has a real problem with amenities and service both are non existent.
The campsite is not maintained in any way. Garbage and bears are a daily problem. Garbage bins are not bear or wildlife proof and located directly adjacent to the playground. Management is non reactive or even present. If you go to front reception the response is generally a blank stare and a no to whatever the question is.
The firepits, grass and washrooms are all not taken care of. In fact, they wont even open the washrooms or showers this season, they don’t feel like cleaning them this year? Also, the WIFI is really not usable.
If you are from the city and want to see a bear this is the place, if you just a transient looking to dump and run this is the place, otherwise keep trucking down the highway.
I am more than willing to re-adjust my review if things change. In the meantime, this is it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comes with a full kitchen with everything you need. The sofa was comfy, bathroom was clean. The only complaints I would have is the bed is very uncomfortable and small, the pillows are rock hard we had to purchase some at the local Walmart near by. The wifi is very slow. The view is beautiful, it was very peaceful. There is a nice trail to hike on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the pleasure of staying here for almost 2 weeks. The Cabins were clean, beds were comfortable. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry onsite was a blessing and decently priced. Unfortunately, the pool and sauna were closed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute cottages in a great location, but they're in desperate need of upgrades! Even some new bedding, pillows and curtains would make a world of difference. The carpets aren't in great shape either. However, the rate was reasonable and it was nice to have so much space in a one-night accommodation, that was pet friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. So accommodating. The chalet we stayed in was very comfortable. They take pets we stayed there when a snow storm happened. The next day they were out plowing the snow and cleaning up. Hope to go back again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a rustic get away, you've found it. We were a little underwhelmed as we were informed there would be linins and towels. For 4 adults we were provided only 2 towels. Our visit was over the holidays, the office was closed. We resorted to buying some. So be prepared.
The cottage itself was a little dirty. Debris on cupboard shelves and on the carpet. It is up to previous renter to clean the dishes, they looked a but cloudy, we rewashed everything before using it.
Overall, next time we will just rent two hotel rooms for the cost. However, if you have young kids in the summer and are looking for a place I'm sure this would be great with the summer amenities.
