★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chow mein was dry and I nearly broke a tooth on something in it, I looked but found nothing. The sweet and sour was hard and dry, possibly made the week before. The wife ate one and refused any more. To make it worse the price was kind of steep. Very very disappointed, we will NEVER eat there again

A whole family giving good service, checking regularly throughout my visit even though I was alone, nice selection at good excellent prices and incredible views especially from the outdoor patio, all glassed in
I really enjoyed the Chinese beer!!!??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the absolute best Chinese food from Nanaimo to Courtenay. It's flavorful and not greasy. The kitchen is very clean and the ingredients are very fresh. The prices are pretty fair and the service is absolutely excellent! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I will be dining here as often as I can. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't have a sign outside saying you're open when you're only offering take-out. I respect your decision to do that but ADVERTISE it so someone doesn't arrive planning to eat there and have basically no other options at that time on a monday.

Chow mien was dry and tasted like it sat under a heat light for hours. Chicken balls were doughy and under cooked. Charged extra for plates and cutlery. First and last time I’ll eat there.
Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ go elsewhere , food ok , very pricey when your curry beef on steamed rice is mostly potatoes? cellery , onion with only a few very small pieces of beef , small portions, and she seems to pad the tax amount and some items charged more than menu price. had house special mixed veg (mostly celery) small portion w/ 3 small prawns 3 small chicken pieces and 2 small pieces of bbq pork definately not worth $17 ......you are fore warned,.
