★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Fish and Chips on Friday and Saturdays and has a lovely atmosphere. It's very popular so there is a good chance you will have to wait but it's worth it. Advice to owners keep these chefs they know what they are doing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped here for dinner for my first night in Parksville and was very impressed! Very busy, but I got seated right away, the bartender, John, was attentive, kind and friendly. Everyone in the bar was friendly and wanted to talk, felt like home! I would recommend the lobster rolls and sticky toffee pudding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is packed with local fishermen consistently so you know it must be good. Had the 3oz cod and exceeded my expectations. Fries were good, coleslaw bland, but tartar sauce amazing. The patio does feel bit like a jail courtyard but understand controls added during pandemic rules. Eating delicious fish at the ocean by the marina is special and this is the place to do it north of Nanaimo.

Expensive halibut fish and chips and halibut burger was just ok. The battered halibut for the burger seems refried and so crusty.
Delicious coleslaw.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing service in a traditional harbour pub full of local fishers serving delicious burgers, homemade soups and fish and chips right from the nearby ocean! Walk afterwards around the quaint harbour admiring the commercial fishing fleet.
