★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent the weekend with Kevin taking my CORE and was so impressed I just went ahead and signed up for my PAL and RPAL for the next 2 days with Amyn! Absolutely 100% recommend BC firearms Academy! 2 of the best instructors I have ever had! I can't thank Kevin and Amyn for their time! Just a fantastic experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yesterday, I did my PAL and RAL course at BC Firearms Academy in Surrey.
My instructor was Eric Beer. I had a wonderful time on Thursday and Friday under his guidance.
Eric is an enthusiastic person and passes on confidence, so I felt secure and comfortable while learning about guns and Canadian laws.
He didn’t put any pressure on me while learning what I had to learn. During the practical test he gave me the opportunity to take it without any stress. It made a huge difference.
I learned a lot about guns and laws in only in two days and I’m excited to have my PAL license and be able to buy my first gun and start to practice shooting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thoroughly enjoyed the teaching style of Eric Beer. He kept it moving well. I got a little nervous about no reading/study material but the Q and A throughout helped to retain the material. All in all a good experience and recommend anyone interested not to shy away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took the PAL/RPAL at Cabela's last weekend with Eric and 11 more students. I was worried about the length of the course, 9:30-5 the 2 days, but Eric is an amazing and very confident instructor and his enthusiasm is so contagious that the time literally flew! I wasn't expecting having fun and learning so much at the same time, but we sure did! Eric also will guide you through all the steps to fill out the application to obtain your licence which is very valuable information. I highly recommend this Academy, I am taking the CORE in a couple more weeks and I am looking forward!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ !00% recommend. Amazing instructors that made a two day course entertaining and enjoyable. I had never previously held a gun before, and left with a true understanding. I feel like I could now attend any gun range and not feel out of place. They taught life long gun skills, not a crash course on how to pass the test.
