I’m not going to bash this restaurant because nothing good will come out of it. This is an honest review and I hope that the business learns from this. As you can see from the photos, the tilapia was not cooked all the way. We also ordered kare-kare and it was untraditionally bland. Would I come back? No. Do I recommend this place? That’s for you to decide.

Servings are slightly smaller than average. However, food is not only delicious but very reminiscent of what pure, unadulterated Filipino food truly is. Something so simple as fried egg is done perfectly - crispy on the edges but soft in the middle. Will return.

It is my second time patronizing this Filipino eatery the first was during their opening now I am trying their takeout. Food is still very good like I remembered the first time. The only thing why I took a star off is the serving size which I think is a bit smaller for the price.

Alright, so wifey is craving palabok and this place came up. We have heard of this place from friends and colleagues but no one really gave us any expectations. We did not look at the reviews prior to eating here either and frankly wifey just want to have her palabok. The restaurant is clean and it’s got a chic/hip feel to it. The staff are wonderful and friendly. They market themselves as kind of β€œturo turo,” wherein they have precooked meat such as caldereta, menudo, pinakbet etc in a heating tray ready for order. Some of their special orders are made by order ei. spaghetti, palabok and grilled chicken etc. We ordered palabok and grilled chicken, sadly there isn’t much to talk about the food. Palabok is lacking taste even salt to it’s essence. The grilled chicken has a nice bbq charred taste but I was really caught off guard when it tasted like another restaurant’s chicken. Seems to lack marinate and it is covered with peri peri sauce as a baste. (Totally not expecting that) Food price was decent. It is later I realize why the mixed reviews on this restaurant, browsing through the comments it appears as though the food itself is the problem. The venue and staff are keeping it together. I truly appreciate pinoy entrepreneurs and I support this place but they need to improve on their product in order to make a name for themselves. They are in food business after all. I wish for this place to succeed!

I’m surprised at the one star ratings and some of the reviews on this place. Service has always been good every time I’ve been here. Food also tastes good - definitely better than some of the overcooked fare we’ve had from other Filipino restaurants in the area. The one meal servings probably could be a little bigger but the inihaw platters were quite enjoyable with just the right flavour.

This place is an absolute rip-off! I had paid 46$ for a platter that had little to nothing on it! The Food tasted old so don't even tell me I paid for quality when it's not. The service was friendly but good customer service with unreasonable prices can mean one thing: Greedy ownership. I do not support small businesses that do not put out quality and over charge. I can see why most pinoy restaurants close! It is very sad to see such a good culture be absolutely tarnished by small restaurants such as these that give a bad impression on the culture.

A good Filipino cuisine away from home. We ordered β€œinihaw box” consist of fish, bbq, chicken and vegie with rice just enough for 4 person. The taste is basic inihaw with assorted sauce. The soy sawsawan is sweet, I prefer it sour with calamansi or lemon which is lacking. I ask for venigar but was instead given the same soy sauce. The staff assumed we know everthing they offered thus unwilling to offer advised and suggestions. The price is just fair, we manage to consume the food. We will be back to try other food boxes available in the menu. This is Truly Filipino

There aren't many choices for Filipino food in the area so I was pretty excited to see this place open. The platters are pretty worth it and with a group of people they are enough so everyone can eat and also try different items. The dessert is really good solid choice to try Halo Halo if you haven't tried it before. Overall solid yummy selection of Filipino classics, I do urge the store to embrace more of the Filipino culture and play some filipino music in the store! I can only see this place getting better with time.
