★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No one informed me that this clinic is not covered by OHIP. ((*Just an fyi the Upper Arm clinic asks how you're going to pay before they even talk to you about an appointment.))
The receptionist I talked to about 4-5 times before I made the appointment had plenty of time to say it's a pay as you go place. They were nice and all but, $60.00 for a piece of sponge glued to my insole and they wanted me to come back!!! I told the receptionist "no one told me it's not OHIP covered here" but it seems it's only cash, debit or credit card payment at the time of the appointment. I did find it difficult to understand the receptionist. She has a heavy accent. She asked me, are you retired? I shook my head in bewilderment (couldn't figure out what that had to do with it) and asked why? She said it's tax deductible. Lol. W/e thanks I don't need another appointment have a great day and I left.
It was very embarrassing because it's a very small waiting area and there was a couple other people there and could obviously hear what was going on.
I think there's a lack of communication and professional etiquette from the receptionist and would not recommend this place.
