Located in the historic Bay & Algoma neighbourhood of Thunder Bay, Bay Meats Butcher Shop is an Ontario-licensed meat processing plant that specializes in gluten free and soy free meat products.
Since 2011, Cindy and Bruce and their staff have been creating recipes that are as healthy as they are delicious. Our first priority is no gluten, no soy. Second priority is Canadian. And when it’s possible, no preservatives, particularly when it comes to our Beef Jerky. If we need to add preservatives, we keep it the levels as low as we possibly can.
We are a small batch processor, which means our batches are kept to about 100kg. That’s small in the processing world, but it means that we maintain consistency, ensure safety and rotate products
