Owner is very generous and very willing to give back to the community. Specialty cuts and custom orders can be requested in advance and will be sure to please! Husband approved!

Much tastier and more tender than what you can get at a regular grocery store in Richmond I’ve been coming here for over two years and don’t remember ever being disappointed with the beef and chicken I bought. Their beef really is worth it, i.e. reliably good, be it steak for grilling or chuck for stewing. Their chicken wings fly way above the frozen grocery store wings from mass producers. My impression is that they have “standards” and make sure that what they put on their shelves is actually good.

R	Raj Sandhu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I come here once every 2 weeks for 2 years now, my experiences at this place is horrible, maybe I am of colour and get judged, as I walk into the store all eyes on me when I open the freezer for dog bones, when I look back guys just staring right at me, my girlfriend has been called out for grabbing a sauce worth 90 cents and put it back and the guy at the counter said what about the sauce, my gf had to go back and show she put the sauce back. I wish the owner would call me and I can tell him how bad this place is run.

They're always friendly, always willing to accomodate requests, and of course fresh, quality meats. I cannot recommend the meat counter of Safeway when there's this butcher shop just a few doors down. These guys know what they're doing and they do it all with great service on top too. ?

With a young family and 2 working parents it’s quite handy to have a butcher with so many marinated meat options. The bbq chicken and lamb skewers are a couple of good value faves. They have a large selection of all meats, marinated or not and good quality, too. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I’ve never waited more than 10 seconds without staff asking to assist. A true Richmond institution.

Try finding that at a larger chain! All the staff are great, but a special shout out for Lydia. My wife and I both agree, she is always cheerful and a great smile. Keep up the good work!
