So glad I’ve finally gone there. Every item on the menu is well executed, from the salad with house made dressing to the requisite schnitzel. Definitely will be going back and bringing all my friends!!!

Amazing authentic Austrian cuisine, best regional date I've had outside Germany and Austria. Well definitely be coming back. European decor with wonderful service, and everything is made fresh! The gulash soup is to die for exactly like in Europe!! The schnitzel is so tender, you can hear them pounding the meat in the kitchen making everyone's meal fresh!! Just like being in Europe, if you can't afford a European vacation just come here for the experience.

The food was very good it was very authentic and had lots of options to choose from. I had the paprika schnitzel with the Vienna pasta which is essentially schpatzel. All the meals come with a salad and bread. The service was friendly and you could feel that this was a family run business which I appreciate. The one complaint I have is we came here for lunch and it took around half an hour to get out food other then that I have absolutely no complaints.

The most authentic German restaurant in Edmonton. This place will not disappoint. Delicious menu full of schnitzel. Pork, veal, vegetarian. Huge flavorful dumplings, and the salad dressing they use here is superior! (They sell bottles of it). The special on Saturdays is a potato noodle with gravy sauce as a side dish option. Delicious. It's everything you would expect for a wonderful German restaurant. ??

Being a German girl that was taught to cook authentic German food I was excited to try this restaurant because of its good reviews. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. It wasn’t all bad, But bad enough that I couldn’t go higher than a two. Service was okay a pleasant enough young man. However when he took my basically untouched final plate, he didn’t think to inquire if something was wrong. Timeliness it was a fair wait, but with high expectations we prepared to wait. Food. Bread basket - nothing special just a basic Kaiser type bun. Soups - Husband had the goulash, this was very tasty. I had the liver dumpling soup. Now since this one item was something new to me I have nothing to compare it to but the broth was salty and heavy on the pepper, dumpling was pretty solid but maybe that is how it is supposed to be. Salad - This lovely trio was the star of the meal. Light and fresh flavours. Main - I had the Wienerschnitzel with the dumpling. ? The deep fried schnitzel was tough and flavourless. The dumpling was the biggest disappointment just a ball of squished bread over seasoned with Thyme and nothing else. The gravy was bland and tasted like it only had pepper in it. The carrots were good I ate two of those. My husband had Jagerschnitzel which is basically the same dish just with mushrooms and pork instead of veal. Same critique there. The presentation was lovely it is just unfortunate the taste did not match. I was so disappointed I would not try the strudel for fear of another let down. I would not agree that this is authentic German food. Some will Say why didn’t you say something. Well the restaurant was full and with the tables quite close I didn’t want to risk having others question their choice to be there. For the price I will not be returning

We were a party of two for a 5:30pm seating. Came down the road and there isn't a sign on the Northside of the building and I missed the turn off. Arrived after a quick couple of turn arounds to get into the parking lot. We had reserved patio seating, but when we went there, the traffic noise was pretty bad. Asked to be seated inside and got the table right in front of the restroom entrance. Ordered a couple of waters and a Warsteiner (out of the bottle). My wife wasn't that hungry. So she ordered the fresh garden salad and the Goulash soup. I ordered a cucumber salad and as well received a smaller garden salad as well. Next time I'll ask to maybe make a substitution. Although I received my daily helping of ruffage in one shot. I as well ordered the weiner schnitzel with quarter fries (French fries). Once my salad frenzy was complete I was in need of another Warsteiner and then my most delicious schnitzel arrived and I proceeded to devour it. In my haste I neglected to take a picture. I'll need to not make that same mistake on our next visit. Thanks a lot to the staff for a most enjoyable and pleasant evening.

This place is tucked away would never have thought. The food was great weiner schnitzel was excellent their stew is excellent. It was a pleasant atmosphere. Staff are really friendly warm. Comfortable setting. You should check it out.

First and foremost, the food is fantastic. I had their daily special which was a breaded pork cutlet. It came with goulash or salad and the salad was very refreshing. I chose the dumpling for my side and was excellent with just the right amount of gravy. A traditional bread dumpling, it looked perfect when I cut into it. The pork cutlet was very tender and the breading was lovely and golden. 10/10 for the meal. This little hidden gem looks lovely from the outside and extremely authentic on the inside, straight out of Austria. The classical music was a nice touch and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place! They have a nice looking patio that I look forward to checking out and an excellent selection of European beers.
