Bathroom & Kitchen Galleries

We renovated our bathroom recently with Bathroom & Kitchen Galleries and we are very happy. We purchased all our materials from them and had them professionally install everything. They did a great job and we plan to use them again in the future.

This company provides the worst service and treat customers with disrespect. To make a very long story short, I paid over $5000 for 2 small wall mount custom vanities and 1 countertop from this company and experienced nothing but problems. Additionally, they thought it was acceptable to humiliate a customer when trying to resolve the issues. The sales rep (Lara) constantly made false claims and accusations. For one of the vanities Lara told me they could make a custom vanity in the style I wanted but then fabricated something very different without consulting me. Only after giving them $2700 and taking delivery of the boxed vanity did she tell me it couldn’t be done. Then she had the nerve to say, “Custom orders are final sale, check your invoice”. Instead of taking any responsibility her response was “you don’t listen”, and “you must be someone that likes to argue”. When the owner (John) got involved he employed bully tactics by constantly yelling over me while I was speaking. When I asked him if we could be handle this in a civilized fashion he said, “I used to be nice to people and got taken advantage of so now I am not nice anymore”. At one point he told me “you have nothing better to do than complain and give me a heart attack”. John was always too busy to deal with the issue. His favourite line was “I’ll call you back tomorrow” and never did. The initial transaction should have taken 3 weeks from sale to delivery, if they delivered what was promised. After a month of negotiating a settlement to exchange the vanities and waiting another 3 months for the replacement vanity to arrive they changed the deal the day before pick-up and demanded I pay another $500 to get the replacement vanity. Considering I have been living without a working bathroom vanity for 5 months now, and invested all this time and money and frustration, I had no other option but to surrender to their demands and move on. I completely regret buying from this company and strongly recommend that you shop elsewhere.

What a fantastic company to work with! We had our bathroom done this fall by Bathroom and Kitchen Galleries, and did they do an amazing job! Designer Lara has helped us to select all fixtures and finishes with such great attention to detail and professionalism! Bathroom was renovated in 2 weeks! Unheard of!!! Anyone looking to renovate their bathroom, I highly recommend this company. E

We stopped into the store to browse items for our bathroom renovation. We walked in and we ignored by the two staff, we looked around for 15 mins and no one made a effort to help or even speak to us. As well the two parking spots in front of the main doors were occupied by the employees cars leaving customers to park behind the building. Definitely won’t be back !

Go Somewhere else!!! Today John Andrew Lokert came by and it wasn’t pleasant. He started off by yelling at me telling me that I was a cheap b^%%&d, that I if I wanted done like that I should do it myself. After much exchange that didn’t go well, I told him that he shouldn’t be doing plumbing and that the work that was completed, was so far below par that it was laughable. He seems to think that paying almost $4000 for this work, wasn't enough. We were quoted $2100 and ended up at close to $4000, because of this extra pipe which he made us think that was fixed correctly. The 10-15ft of pipe and elbow represents approx $50-100 in parts, not sure how we got up to close to $4000. But it was paid! We called him back because of the 5 yr Warranty, but that was him YELLING for 3-5 minutes at me trying to scream enough where I would want him out. He kept yelling at the top of his voice that I should be fired and that I didn’t know what I was talking about, unfortunately he doesnt know who hes talking to 1) I'm the Client and 2) The owner of the building. I've attached pictures to hear your thoughts of this workmanship. I love the Electrical tape which I think is Master Plumber 101, "Things not to do" also has NO Hangers, to support the weight of the water in the pipe, NOT EVEN an apprentice would do such HORRIBLE WORK!!

Tons of fantastic choices for bathrooms! Staff is unbelievably helpful in selecting the right combo of fit, form, function, and cost.

We ordered a small kitchen cabinet set from Bathroom & Kitchen Galleries in Burlington early spring 2021. The cabinets were delivered in June and the installation is still not finished as of December 07). There is one outstanding deficiency (1" gap from floor to ceiling where the cabinets meet the wall). They actually thought the job was done. Several calls but they have failed to finish or even followup with their installer. The installer finally came to measure the gap a week ago after I threatened a google review. Never called or returned to finish. From the beginning of installation there have been numerous unprofessional events. They don't bring a vacuum or broom to cleanup. All of the packing materials are left behind. The cabinets were not cleaned out, white caulking left in our concrete driveway. The owner (John) ask us to take the upper cabinet doors to a glass place to get glass cut and installed and he would pay the glass place which I said that is their responsibility. This is a small kitchen and not cheap. Unfortunately we paid the balance in good faith as we have purchased bathroom fixtures for 2 bathrooms from them in the past. There were many more issues but I think this tells the story. You are taking your chances if you choose Bathroom and Kitchen Galleries in Burlington Ontario for your next project.

This was an amazing experience, and we now have our dream bathroom! Lara immediately understood our slightly funky functional approach to design, and was extremely helpful and proactive in the selection of the materials, tiles and grout colours. She helped us to coordinate all of the cabinetry and accessories , ordered everything and finally connected us with the best professional renovator, Bryant Johnson. His skills super-ceded all of our expectations. His positive personality, helpful suggestions, and exceptional skills left us thrilled with the outcome of the room. The precise approach to ensuring our older, somewhat slanted floor and walls were level and true resulted in a stunning outcome. We now have installed the barn door to conceal the washer/drier and finally the California shutters as the finishing touch. We highly recommend the B & K Galleries experience!
