Small batch artisanal awesomeness at its finest. This is my home. Each year I learn something new and discover another aspect of myself within this amazing environment. Bass Coast is a unique and affirming place that comes to life thanks to the dedicated passion of both those who put it on, and those who attend. It's a safe non judgemental space where you can be as you need. Each year I see others bringing their self expression forward in such unique ways, inspiring each other with their creativity. The momentum this creates flows out into everyday life and brings me back each year to witness the spectacle. If you were to sit down and really do your best to get a festival right, you'd be on the same path as Bass Coast. The location, sound, facilities, amenities and consideration is all next level. Incredible art installations, workshops, yoga classes, amazing food, and the PK sound system you didn't know you were missing. And at the root of it all, it's just a really fun camping trip in a beautiful place where you can find your friends you haven't met yet. Truly a curated event on its own level. 5 stars isn't enough. All the stars! See you there.

Magical. One of the best Music Festivals you can attend in BC and potentially the whole of Canada. Full of interesting people, art installations and music.

I've attended quite a few music festivals accross bc including Shambhala, Tall Tree, Atmosphere, Rifflandia (if you can even call it a festival), and Bass Coast is, in my humble opinion, the absolute best event running. The level of attention and focus that goes into the evolution of the festival each year keeps the experience getting better and better. The art installation grounds in the heart of the festival are such an amazing and unique element that no other festival has achieved, not even Shambhala - not in the way that Bass Coast has done it. The art, the people, the music, everything - everything at this festival is the best it can be, and it keeps getting better every year. If the lineup is your kind of music I can guarantee you will have an excellent experience at Bass Coast Music Festival. Don't forget your shade structures - it gets hot out here!

Had a blast at Motion Notion volunteering on the green team! Got stranded, but was helped immensely by the Merritt Grapevine (FB). I hope the party is here next year!

Basscoast stole my heart this year! Working behind the scenes really opened up my eyes to what it takes to put on a production this size! I truly love and appreciate everyone who came together colectively to make this beautiful festival happen! From the costumes to stages to food and obviousky the music! -This is one of the best festivals I have been too! Can't wait for next year!!

Home away from home with all the Bass Family! This is truly a place of love, connection and creativity. Everyone is welcome and accepted for who they are, wherever they are on their journey in life. The curators of This festival know how to put on a good show, make everyone feel safe and welcome and accommodate them having the best time. They are also very humble and down to earth. I love working for this festival and out of the 16 various Bass music festivals that I have been to, Bass Coast remains number one in my heart!

If this is your kind of music I can guarantee you'll enjoy this festival. Not only does it showcase some of the best music on some of the most incredible stages with amazing sound systems it has one of the most interesting collections of interactive art and the most immersive experience of any festival in BC.

Within the first couple hours of arriving, I understood why everyone was telling me to go to Bass Coast. This place is so magical. The river is healing and watching the sun rise over it was one of my favourite things each morning. Loved the layout of the festival grounds. Sick DJs, high caliber dancers and artists, and the most creative and fun art installations. Sunrise sets at Slay Bay are pure beauty and joy. Seriously, go to Bass Coast!!
