S	Sarah Khan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dog Puddington started at barks n Rec about 2 months ago. In this short time, he has become better at listening to basic commands (and learned some new ones!). He is more confident with other dogs when we visit the dog park. He’s learned to enjoy self-directed playtime and his separation anxiety is significantly lower. He now knows his daycare schedule and waits patiently by the door when it’s time to go see Uncle Matt. Plus.. the webcams helped with my anxiety about leaving him those first couple weeks. So appreciative of Matt B. And his team for taking such great care of my pup!

Matt welcomed Benny and introduced him to the other dogs and was very professional, personable, knowledgeable and passionate about dogs and his daycare. Ron was also really great and kind. Overall, excellent daycare experience for Benny.

The place has a big indoor floor area, spacious enough where pups can socialize and still have room for individual quiet time, as well as an outdoor space for fresh air and more fun activities. The owner and staff keep the pups engaged and keep the place neat and clean, particularly prompt to attend to "accidents". We are happy as our Hammy seemed to enjoy and always looking forward to going to Barks n' Rec and be with his furry friends. Check this place out!

A	Amanda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Penny and I just completed the 6 week training program offered by Barks n' Rec. I am honestly amazed! Matt is very knowledgeable and his training methods proved successful. During the first class Matt said “By the end, your dog will do a sit, stay while you leave the room.” - Needless to say, with a 5 month old Australian Shepherd puppy, I was very skeptical… I shouldn’t have been. Week 6, Penny did sit and she did stay while there was PIZZA in front of her and while I walked in and out of the class; I was speechless. Matt may offer and suggest various collars and haltis as tools to help your dog focus; we found the padded martingale to work best for our needs. He has a little boutique in the facility so you can try on a variety of collars and even get your pupper a toy for being so good! Ultimately, you are the one that will be trained. If you are committed to learning and are willing to be constant with your dog, you will see results in this class. I highly recommend Barks n’ Rec. Penny will definitely be back to see her friends and partake in some doggie daycare!

Secondly, another dog took a toy he was playing with and he barked. I guess this is aggressive behavior? Sorry he hasn't been to charm school ?
N	Nirmal Phull on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tired dog is a happy dog! My mini goldendoodle loves this place. She loves the open play session and always has a great time. The staff are kind and courteous. This place is clean and smells great (because the dogs relieve themselves outside). No walking in each other’s mess.

The team didn’t hesitate to call in my emergency contact as they knew I was out of the country and kept me up to date while she was taken care of by the vet. She was brought back to barks n rec after the vet visit and Matt the owner sent me follow ups every day on her progress and soon enough she was at full health and could see her enjoying the day care in full flight. I’ve brought my dog to many day cares and barks and rec is hands down the best day care and boarding I have brought my dog to.
