They make it fun to get ice cream with cool tokens and great service you cannot go wrong with this local ice cream shop!!! I had a black forrest chocolate shake that wàs recommended by the gentleman working and let me tell you it was by far the best richest creamiest milk shake I have ever had !! with a hint of cherry!!!! Good job baby bears !! I will be a big bear by the end of summer now that we know the best place to go in Chemainus. Did i mention the very cool courtyard with chainsaw carvings animal shaped shrubs and very nice landscapes with lots of seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful settings on Vancouver Island, the secret garden is immaculately maintained and evokes the Disneyland feels with the music and atmosphere. Tons of ice cream flavors served by people obsessed with quality and service, great prices and delicious ice cream. The shop is themed to a bear family, and there are tons things to see, like carved bears, topiaries and a beautiful gazebo and benches to sit. stop and enjoy an ice cream here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a gem in the heart of town. Just sneaking behind the buildings of the artisanal Main Street you are transported into relaxing secret garden.
A perfect spot to enjoy an ice cream in summer with the largest selection of flavours around. Sit back an enjoy the sculpted shrubs and of course the wooden carved bears.
Even in winter it is a nice spot to relax and visit.
