Want to see just a SMALL offering of the innumerable deficiencies, delays and in general incompetence with this project management team? Please see the attached screenshot. -Numerous units were completed with the incorrect flooring, tiling, and upgrades that were requested and paid for by owners. Even basic requests like swapping out bathtubs for showers, changing from barn-door to regular-door entryways, etc. were completely missed. What happened when owners asked about these deficiencies? They were told the flooring/upgrade requests were "missing". Funnily enough, Alice, the associate who managed these requests on behalf of Avli, is also "missing". -Dog/bike wash, hobby shop, library and other amenities as shown on the website and original Schedules with Offers to Purchase from 2015-2017, are also missing from the building. Whoops. -New appliances are shoddy. Ovens take nearly an hour to pre-heat, and there are reports of the washers smoking due to erosion/abrasion when in use. -Poor build quality overall. Shoddy jobs installing drawers, dressers and cabinets. Tiling and grouting is subpar... especially for a new build. -Lack of communication (if any communication at all) from the marketing team, sales team, project management teams, AND the property management company. If/when a condo board forms, I would highly recommend canning Magnum York, their property management group. Their response ratio on emails is ~5% and nobody seems to have a clue what's going on with this project. Condo fees were improperly handled and pre-authorized debits occurred en masse for units which were not paying fees for the better part of a year. I cannot stress the sheer ineptitude, poor communication, and unprofessional conduct from this project's developers. Stay away. Perhaps entertain renting, but do not buy here. You don't want the liability. Trust me, I'm an owner here.

AVLI is one of the most interesting Calgary condo projects ever built. We should have more architecture in Calgary like this.

I didn't have high hopes with looking at condos near downtown but these prices are quite reasonable considering proximity to downtown and other amenities. The build is in the luxury category as per them and I am definitely in the works of making a purchase.

Ravead3 is correct. BUYERS BEWARE!! Our unit is also 3.5 years old and we also received a special assessment for $2.5MM. (damages and bylaw code violations). Builder is not willing to own up for their mistakes and putting people at risk. Each owner is responsible to pay $30+K or more. They have a current project in Calgary - AVLI Condo's. DO NOT BUY!!!!

BUYER BEWARE- I purchased a brand new condo (built in 2015) from this developer (Greenview Developments) and within three years each condo unit owner received millions of dollars worth of assessments due to faulty construction (building envelope, fire protection, eavestroughs, downspouts, roof, privacy walls ect.,)and the builder not building the structure up to code, which created unsafe conditions for us. As of this date, the builder/developer have been refusing to take responsibility for this, leaving the unit owners to pay an estimated $30,000 or higher
