★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cannot find details on the policy of how they work with preauthorized payments and seriously they charge way too much if a payment does not go through. Was given a quote and they debit actually more from the account have to find out with the consumer protection if they have a right to debit from your account without any warning such as email etc if it is not the date mentioned because that is just screwing the customer over and will be cancelling the insurance no doubt about it wonderful first experience with an insurance company WOW

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly unprofessional agency. Telephone numbers on my policy don't work, and fax is disconnected. Have to call Aviva Canada and be transferred to them. Employee "Vitaly", was condescending, impatient and downright rude. Hung up on me twice. Buy hey, it took me 10 minutes to get insurance elsewhere after 15 years with these guys, plus I got a better policy for less $$$, so good riddance.
Avoid these people, especially "Vitaly". Shady outfit, just collecting commissions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good rates, and professional brokers & CRS. Manvir Badesha is a really great professional insurance advisor. Well spoken and has knowledge when it comes to your premium insurance. Rest assured he will make sure you have the best rate, and will be looked after. I recently had a concern and Manvir went above and beyond resolving the issue.
Keep it up Aviva !

You can have your policy cancelled without any reminder when your payment did not pass. We did not receive any notice that there were problem with our payment. We received directly the letter of cancellation. We had to pay the whole year. TOTALLY UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The agents so UNHELPFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even don't want to listen to you!
LOOK FOR OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Upon making a claim we found that the vin number Aviva had on file was off by a 3 digits (the error was on aviva's end). I had to send all car Sale contract, certified vehicle agreement, SAQ service receipt, car registration, photo proof of VIN# ON my vehicle, finance docs etc, on 4 different occasions upon Aviva's request over 3 separate weeks. Only to be told the same thing " the VIN number we have on file doesn't match the VIN on your car so we need to verify". My claim agent is/was useless, he offered no actual support or proper updates. He was unable to answer most of my general questions and very unwilling to do the bare minimum let along go above and beyond. It's over a month and still i cannot get my claim sorted or get approval in order to set an appointment for the repairs to be completed on my vehicle Despite the fact that the error in the VIN was AVIVA'S ERROR.
I definitely won't be renewing even if their rates are a bit lower. It's not worth the stress and or lack of quality service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have some news. I am 67 yr old senior on a fixed pension. Despite sending emails saying that I would not be renewing my policy because I wasn't happy with the service and asking them to Cancel my policy, they chose to remove over 325$ from my bank account. Is that illegal? Can I sue? I'm not able to pay some bills or buy food. I had to borrow money. Needless to say they have not as yet returned my money. I'm not sure they will. I've contacted my bank and they will try and help me. Please beware. Don't be next. There are other choices out there.
