They offer really cool workshops, too! I love seeing local businesses supporting local makers - try the chocolates, you won’t be disappointed!

The new employee that works there is very kind… and he’s cute too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This rating is for the tarot reader, Debra Tomlinson. She put an ad on Facebook. 3 questions for $20. I asked her 3 questions, 2 of which she answered. The 3rd question (health issue) was not answered. Instead she tried to upsell me to see her partner for an herbal consult. I said I didn't want her opinion, I wanted to know what the cards said. She told me that wud cost me another $20. While I was typing she blocked me. Not cool Debra. A deal is a deal. Your manners and integrity need a serious check.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cornerstone of Market Square, Avalon has been around for over 50 years. They carry a wide selection of books, crystals and gems, herbs, and more. As their store sign says, they provide what you need for apothecary and vintage occult, and your day-to-day psychic needs.
We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff member who showed us around the shop. My partner was overly impressed with the stones and herbs. I talked about the books I bought about angels years ago and we just took in the wonder of Avalon.
We are so glad to have stopped by there on our latest visit to Victoria and will be going back soon.
