chaotic, and doesn't keep the promised dates BUT … the mechanic (Bitu) is a pure genius: can and will diagnose and repair any diesel vehicle you've got.

Only place that had an appointment available when I was in a bind. Kept promising to be done the next day. Dodged phone calls and ended up taking 4 days to do a 2hr job (as per his estimate) Wouldn't recommend even as a last resort.

We were on vacation, spent most of the day getting the wrong diagnosis from Canadian tire in tsawwassen and thanks to Matty from Delta towing were introduced to Bitu and his amazing mechanics! They diagnosed our Motorhome with a fuel pump modulator, found the part down the street and had us up and running in no time! His amazing receptionist, Samali (hope I am spelling right) was welcoming and gave me my first and best French vanilla coffee of the day 2pm)! Highly recommend this family business!

Unfortunately, we did try to contact AutoZone, but calls were not answered or returned. We also tried to contact by email and a very detailed letter for them to respond to us within 1 week from receipt of email, but again all was ignored. So, decided to leave this review as our initial step in moving forward. We had our driveshaft repaired on our car by AutoZone but turned out the job was not done properly. After picking up our car after the repair and driving around for 1 week, there seemed to be a bad rattling noise and then the engine shut down on us in the middle of the road. We did not want to go back to AutoZone, as when the drive shaft was repaired, we were told to pick up the car on December 24st (Christmas Eve). I asked the owners if I could pick it up next week (after Christmas holidays), as we were given the final price of $2,240 for the drive shaft replacement. This was a bit of a shocker as they said it was not a major problem when we towed it in. On December 24th we were told it had to be paid in full and picked up or we would be charged a $35 per day storage fee. We paid and took the car. Please keep in mind that we were already given 3 dates that the car would be ready and all dates where never met. When the car stalled on the street a week later, I opened the hood, and we found the engine cover not installed back in place and found workers gloves caught in the engine belt. I believe they were left loose under the engine cover. We had the car taken to a qualified mechanic this time, and they asked us what was done to the car last time. We let them know that the drive shaft was replaced, and that was it. It turned out the alternator had failed this time around. We cannot say if it was the glove that was found around the belt that caused this, as i did not take pictures before i pulled it out. But other mechanic did also find a large ratchet in the engine as well (this is what was causing the rattling noise). The other mechanic decided to look at the driveshaft installation and advised us that it was not a new drive shaft that was installed, he also found the bolts loose around the drive shaft, and one of the bolts was missing (see pictures). He said this is a very big safety issue, and that we cannot take the car without this being repaired (which he did at no charge). He also said that he cannot take responsibility if the shaft fails as he did not purchase and install the shaft. I am sorry to say after our experience at AutoZone the surprise bill, and the big Surprise of the storage fee, and now the subpar workmanship and lack of response from them. I cannot recommend this place. The owners at AutoZone clearly also knew that this car was my wife’s car and that she travels heavily with our children. SAFETY HAS BECOME AN ISSUE NOW. I paid in FULL and they got all their money, we got the bad end of the stick on this. Consumers BEWARE!
