So there are two issues at hand here. One, I went in their store to see if they have a product I'm looking for. They did. The three gentlemen were on the phone and didn't even acknowledge me. I waited for 10 minutes and then I left. Fair enough, they were busy... I called back later to see how much the product was, and it was $400, compared to $300 on Amazon. Look, I'm always happy to help out local businesses. That's why I went there. I was willing to pay an extra $50, just to "shop local", but $100 difference on a $300 product is a bit much. If it would've been $50 more, I would've bought it from them; like I said to SHOP LOCAL. It's important to price your products accordingly. I understand that you will never be able to compete with online stores, but a "little add on price hike" nobody minds, but when it's 25% more expensive online, it's a bit much to justify it. I would much rather keep local people employed than help Bezos get another private jet... Even then, I may have considered it, given the service was good. Sorry guys, I really didn't want to give you a mediocre review, but I have no choice.

I would give negative stars if I could for this place, I've had to come back 3 times now to have my front speakers working properly, and on the third time I was told there's now water damage in my door that wasn't there prior. Upon leaving I was followed out by an employee who claims a door that opened and closed behind me I purposely broke on my way out. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

Service was friendly and very helpful. I was shopping for rims for my Dodge Avenger and was very pleased with the selection and price. Ended up with these bad boys.

Short version: 1. You will be ignored; 2. Your vehicle might be damaged and the staff won't own up to it; 3. Your calls won't be returned and the staff are not as knowledgeable as they seem; and 4. You have to pay money to book an appointment. Long version: I had a trailer harness installed at Auto Add Ons and do not recommend anyone come to this business. Here is what I experienced when I arrived at the business: 1. The staff ignore you. When my wife and I arrived to pick up our vehicle, there were a bunch of staff sitting around, not even acknowledging our existence. At most I would have expected a "hello" or someone to say, "[so and so] will be out in a second." Basic tenets of customer service. 2. After the harness was installed, there was a scratch on my bumper above the hitch. None of the staff owned up to it and everyone claimed that it was on my bumper before I had arrived. In an attempt to make things right, they took $50 off the final bill. After seeing another similar experience on Yelp, I know I am not alone in this experience. I wasn't going to write a review, but I decided to go back for some more work to be done (to support local) and that is what sparked me to write this review. It started when I asked the business to look into the compatibility of an air suspension kit with my vehicle. The company promised to call me back right away after they did a bit of research. After 3 days without a call being a returned, I called back to follow up. The rep told me that what I was looking to do wasn't possible and he had confirmed with his distributor already. Okay, then why didn't you call me if that was the case? Despite that, I had done my own research to confirm it was in fact possible to install the kit in my vehicle, so I provided them with the new info and they agreed to do the work. The final straw in this was when they asked for a $100 deposit to book an appointment. I have never heard of this in my life and after all the trouble they were giving me, I declined and went with another business in town. I will never be going back there again. Steer clear.

Bought a set of aluminum rims for my classic truck, besides the 1 rim needing 5 times the weights of the others and being told it was bent by a certified mechanic auto add ons could have cared less. They also gave me a mismatched set of centre caps, two of them don’t have the same emblem the other 2 have.

Made arrangements to bring in my wife’s vehicle to get a car starter installed and under coating applied. They knew the year and make of the vehicle prior to the appointment. I showed on the assigned day to learn that because the vehicle was a push start and not key start, it would have to be hard wired which takes more time than was allocated. I was told that only the under coating would be done as the installer for the hard wire was not in. This is the second time I’ve had an issue. The previous time I brought in a truck to get a rear camera installed. I explained that I wanted the Ford emblem replaced with the camera variant and an appointment was made. When I attended for the install I was disappointed to learn that once it was completed that the camera was the license plate mounted one, which was not was discussed previously. Both issues were avoidable if better understanding and input to the work order were done correctly the first time. Upon learning of the remote start issue I contacted Cozy Car and they were able to get me in the same day and it was installed with no issues. I will not be back or recommend in the future.
