It is always a pleasure to be hosted by the wonderful employees that are welcoming and helpful with your questions about the menus. The food is tasty and served in good amount. You can also find a large variety of drinks and beers at this location; what a great mix to make your food experience a better one! I would definitely recommend this location.

The breading is perfect and not too thick, the house made tartar sauce couldn't be better and even the coleslaw had a super unique and memorable flavor that made it stand out. The location is great to have a bite to eat and people watch the interesting assortment of people in byward market, you could even say dinner come with a free show if you're at a window seat ?

Oh I forgot about the live music. I wish it wasn't so loud or that the equipment transmitted the sound better. I'm sure the musician was good but it was uncomfortable listening.

I was a bit cold at some point and had a nice cup of tea. Place was really busy and noisy but it is what you can expect for a pub.
