I visited the studio to do a custom-shade match for my new crown. The place looked clean and well organized and all staff was really nice. When I had questions about the procedure and what to expect, they answered me kindly in a professional manner. My crown is fitting perfectly and I have no problems at all. I am happy with the colour as well!

If you find out your dentist is using this Lab PLEASE read my story first. I had my right front tooth broken off in an accident, after waiting a year once the root was extracted to allow the bone to heal, I went to a dentist who said he thought a Maryland bridge would work for me and it would be less expensive than a full bridge, so Astro Dental Art made a Maryland Bridge for me. Four days later It fell off. From the time it was put on it did not feel right, it had a big bulb at the back and did not feel like it covered my tooth, as it should have. Then covid happened and i waited until the dentists were working again, a second dentist told me I was not a candidate for the Maryland bridge because of my bite, something both the 1st dentist and Astro dental "Artist" should have know. I agreed to a full bridge at an additional cost of $2900. when it was applied I immediately noticed it was way too white, too big both in depth and length, also had a big bulb feeling at the back near the roof of my mouth and was flat across the back of the 3 teeth, very odd feeling, I had trouble keeping my lips closed over there hugh brilliant white rabbit teeth. so now for the third time, I went back and the Lab guy met me at the dentists office, to see in person what I felt was wrong, I thought great I could show him and explain exactly what I felt was wrong, he listened, took pictures, color match me and said he could fix all my issues, so back i go for the third bridge. this time the color was good, but it was still flat across the back but the 2 front teeth are different sizes, the right one feels pretty good but the left one is still too big and has that big bulge at the back. I am totally frustrated and will not go back. this all started in Calgary , however since the 1st bridge was put on we moved 5 hours away so made 5 trips to Calgary over the next couple of months, twice we got a hotel room as we thought 11-12 hours days would be too exhausting, but could not do that the last 3 times - too expensive.PLEASE BEWARE!!

I had a wonderful experience the Astro Dental. I went in for a custom shade match for four crowns. I was nervous about the final product and they were polite, helpful and reassuring. I had a few adjustments that I wanted to the shape and they were able to make it happen and provide a finished product that I loved!

I have had the pleasure of working with Mr.Colin Kim and his team at Astro for the last 13 years . For me its all about relationships and communication and Astro has always been committed to providing the best for my patients . Colin is one of the few technicians I know who understands the relationship between the jaw joint ( TMJ ) and teeth which is crucial when making a single crown and especially when restoring a whole mouth . I have great respect for the fact that he is continually learning and wanting to provide a better product to his dentists and in turn to our patients . He has surrounded himself with a very professional and capable team that are very good communicators . I have recommended Astro dental Lab to numerous colleagues and will continue to do so .
