★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are some Japanese restaurants in Kerrisdale on the W 41st Ave. Asa Sushi was one of them I often walked past. It is a sushi and raw bar with nice wooden interior and exterior deco.
I went here for lunch with a very hungry stomach so I decided to order Lunch Combo C. The combo came with Dynamite Roll (you can choose other rolls), tempura, nigiri sushi, salad, fried gyoza, pickle and miso soup. The portion was large and stomach filling. It costs $15.95 but surely you would get the value for money.
The servers are attentive and polite. The tables were cleaned properly after the guests left the table. I will have beer if I come for dinner next time. This is a Japanese restaurant you can have beer and enjoy a good meal with friends after a long day work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best chicken teriyaki ever! I love the taste of the chicken and the stir fried veggies.
Tastes a lot healthier too because it's skinless and grilled instead of deep fried. Teriyaki comes with miso and rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is reasonably priced. I was surprised to see that the Beef Don had a lot of beef and the sauce was just right without being too sweet. Appetizer tempura was crispy and fresh. Rolls and sashimi were fantastic as expected.

Highly recommend. Instantly a new local spot for me.

Salmon Oshi was so tasty and seared to perfection. I even got a roll and extra oshi to go. Bravo Asa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sushi here is a bit pricier but that is most definitely reflected in the quality of the sushi. It is absolutely delicious, all the ingredients feel super fresh and premium, and I love their speciality rolls. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So delicious! I came here with my mom before a show, and I have never seen her enjoy her meal so much! She kept saying how it was some of the best sushi she has ever had. It was all cooked so deliciously and they have such a huge menu of different options. The portions were also really big! We noticed how many take out orders to go there was which worried us at first that they would be too busy.But they still managed to get us our food at a good time. All the staff was lovely and welcoming. They seated us right away but because it’s so good I can see how it can fill up very quickly. I don’t live around here but if I come back that way again and want sushi I’ll for sure be coming back here. Delicious
