If you purchased a property this year and do not receive the property-tax notice by early June, please contact the municipality. Land Titles Office continues to take over three months to register documents and municipalities may not receive notifications of changes of ownership until after property taxes are due and payable. Many municipalities are not waiving late penalties despite the registration time frame at Land Titles Office.
