★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good: friendly staff. Can bring the bike back until 7-8pm even in may (not exactly peak season). They have a lot of bikes
Bad: staff recommended to me a route that took me on an unmaintained trail full of snow and a couple fallen trees. Not fun! Also i could not get comfortable on the specialized levo e-trail bike. We couldn't dial the suspension to my liking. Not sure if it was me , or the fox rhythm fork (although they did say something was up with the fork and replaced it after the first day. But I had similar issues on day 2) Every other bike (and e-bike) I've rented elsewhere felt fine to me, so I'll go somewhere else next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coaching! We’re Whistler locals and love these guys for one on one coaching and great service. Friendly, approachable and knowledgeable staff. If you want to elevate your riding quickly, ask for Tristin! Did the rock roll at the end of Why Johnny Can’t Read on the first try (and looked damn good doing it!).

Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to build confidence, get out to meet other riders, or just receive that extra feedback to improve your technique!

Team were outstanding, friendly, knowledeable and helpful.
Bike itself (Spesh Enduro) was really, really good. Perfect for the bike park and local trails.
The team fixed a couple of small niggles I caused during the week with nothing but smiles! Huge thanks.
The shop is excellent too, and you can kit yourself out with all you need from here. Great advice on offer as well.
Attention to detail stands out - they offer left-hand / right-hand brake options on rentals. They put new grips and a new tyre on the bike from the off, so it was like taking a brand new bike onto the trails.
Can’t recommend enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 11/10 We did the 5 hour guided ebike tour and it was fantastic! We saw so many new places in Whistler. Our guide Alistair was very knowledgeable about Whistler past and present, and also quiet funny! A great day was had by all. We will definitely be doing this again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a mountain bike for my boy from Arbutus Routes, his bike got a flat tire. I must say people are really nice and attentive there! I appreciate their service. Location wise it's very convenient in upper village! Renting process is simple with online forms and waivers. In and out with the bike in less than 10 minutes. Returning was easy too had my kid returning the bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is just a quick note to communicate my experience at your shop on Monday, May 9.
Walking in the door, I was likely the first customer that day and I was greeted with smiles from three employees who were interactive, friendly and polite. The shop was clean with excellent layout, flow and organization.
While waiting for my coaching session to begin, I had a brief interaction with a mechanic who explained and solved my suspension questions better and faster than I've been able to understand since I started riding 7 years ago.
Biggest thanks to Coach Lizzie for being professional, friendly, patient, challenging and positive. The coaching session was perfect in terms of pace, progression, communication, range of terrain, coaching tools and focus on the outcome goals of the day. I felt safe for the entire session while stepping out of my comfort zone without pressure or judgement. Lizzie is an exemplary employee and representative of Arbutus Routes. Her coaching is top notch.
My bike got better, my riding improved, and I felt welcome in your business. You don't get all three of these very often and if it helps your team, I'd be happy if you were to share my experience with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ebike rental. Best price in the village, had a 4 hour saw every part of the valley trail. And stopes for a sandwich along the way.
Bike was in great shape and worked perfectly.
Check in and check out was easy.
Best to reserve in advance though.
