Had an issue with our dishwasher. They came out, spent some time doing a thorough diagnosis, and found the issue. Sourced the replacement part and completed the fix a short time later.
Something wasn't quite right afterward (minor issue - pump was running when it shouldn't have been). They came back, found the issue (stuck relay) and fixed it at no additional cost.
Initially we had called a different company (Maydone) - someone from there came out, had a quick look, didn't really find anything, and charged more.
Appliance Heroes definitely came through - super impressed with how thorough they are and the quality of their service.

They actually care and really want to help you extend the life of your appliance, not just make a quick buck at your expense. 10/10 recommend. Also, I commend their complimentary repairs for low-income and not for profit customers. Hire them to help them help others for free!

AND I felt safe having them inside my house during the Pandemic. I highly recommend this company! Dryer Cleaning & Duct (learned so much about the inside of my dryer!!), Washer cleaning & gasket repair AND Dishwasher diagnostic & repair (#886, 887,888) THANK YOU to my new heroes! PHOTO is from the DRYER which I had no idea the amount of lint build up throughout the interior of this 9 year old machine.

I'd reached out to 3 other people to fix my dishwasher & fridge, and I was either ghosted, or given vague promises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nathan fixed my Samsung washer. He was incredibly professional and efficient. He has an outstanding work ethic. He found the main issue, then he discovered a secondary problem that had caused the main issue, he found a creative, effective and free way to fix the secondary issue. He had to come for a second visit to fix the secondary issue. Not only did he not charge for the second visit, he even turned down a personal gratuity. I am so impressed by this company and will refer them to everyone I know and will go back to them for all my appliances repair needs in the future.

Got my washing machine fixed quickly, very communicative and explained the issue as well as tips for the future to keep the machine in good health. A big relief that they were so great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We received excellent service! Nathan diagnosed our (6 years old) dishwasher problem quickly. He provided an estimate to make the repair; and also recommended brands (known for low maintenance; good/better/best options) if we chose to purchase a new one.
We decided to go the repair route. Nathan went to source the part and found that it was on back order with no ETA. No surprise due to COVID supply chain issues. He was very resourceful and located the part in Calgary. Once the part arrived , the repair was completed quickly.
The total charge was very reasonable! We will definitely use Appliance Heroes again. They are great communicators, professional, hard working and trustworthy.
