Anytime Fitness - Kelowna

I've been a member here since this gym opened and I can't praise it enough. The gym is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. There have been a few upgrades to the gym to bring in more equipment for the members which shows the owners care about feedback. Definitely worth a trial whether your brand new or looking for a new gym.

Would love to join this gym as it's close to my house. But I can never get ahold of anyone who works there to enquire. Went there to see in person and can't do that either. I have even tried to sign up online and never heard anything back. It's been a month already.

Was a great gym till the v cards came out put my gym membership on hold for 5 months then wanted to cancel due to v cards. The manager doesn’t even read his emails. Can’t get a hold of him.

I love my Anytime Fitness Kelowna! The location is easy to get to right off the highway & the facilities are bar none the best! If you want a machine or piece of equipment they have it! Not to mention they are clean & available to use with no long line ups! The manager, Casey & team member Chad are friendly & genuinely interested in my workouts. The regional manager, Ahmed, makes sure things are running smoothly, checking in on a daily basis & he is also authentically encouraging. The team works together to make everyone's experience at this gym the best! I have worked at & been to many gyms in Kelowna & this is by far the best! I'm very grateful to workout during covid19 with all the safety protocols in place and strictly followed. I'm happy to call Anytime Fitness Kelowna my home gym!

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Anytime Fitness Kelowna! I have been using their facility while I am on tour in the Okanagan and I must say it is the cleanest anytime I have been to! Emily and Alex are there everyday vacuuming and steaming the carpets! On a scale of 3 to 7, 3 being the cleanest this facility is a 2!

Such a good gym. I found that its never too busy that you cant find a machine, un-like some of the other gyms. Same with tanning beds. Also, these gyms are literally everywhere. That's why why I got the membership here. You can travel and find an Anytime fitness anywhere. On a side note: I want to give a big Thank you to the Operations Manager Matt. He has gone above and beyond to be working all the time and replying quickly anytime I've had any minor concerns.

In terms of a gym, it's alright. I've went here for almost 2 years and it was great. However with the new vaccine passport I'm unable to attend, or even open the door with my key fob. Which I understand as that's not in their control. However, I've been being charged for the last 6 months without being able to go in and cancel my membership. I tried calling 10+ times, no answer (or call back despite leaving multiple messages), I've sent emails, no answer, I contacted them on Instagram and was told a manager would email me by the end of the day, no email. It seems like the only way to cancel a membership is taking them to small claims court. I've been charged $300+ in membership fees despite desperately trying to cancel, I'm guessing they're not planning on reimbursing me and if that's the case I will be contacting a lawyer. This is ridiculously unprofessional, if it wasn't for that they would have gotten 5 stars as I genuinely love this gym. Sad to see them treat their members this way. Hope to hear back from you guys soon. PS Casey is the best thing at this gym, great guy. Hope he's not the ones treating me like this.

Anytime fitness was the first gym I ever went to, I started going when I was 16. It was a gym that made me feel welcomed due to the members. My staff experience wasn’t great whenever I had to engage with them. When Covid first hit I tried to cancel my membership since I didn’t have my vaccine and didn’t want to, I was told I would have to pay off the rest of my contract. So instead I paid for months for my membership yet I was allowed to enter the gym(I know it’s not their fault they are just enforcing rules but it is still ridiculous that they refused to let me drop my contract) I ended up getting my vaccine after gaining a lot of weight since I wanted to go again, I usually go around 7-8 since I have work and school and the amount of people that are in there is obnoxious. You can tell about 90% of the people there have been snuck in, and they leave their weights and don’t clean after themselves. Why would I pay 70 bucks a month when people are just getting in there for free? 0 enforcement on it what’s so ever. I try to work out at night but I can’t even use the machines I want with the amount of people there. The west side location was much better in my opinion as far as both staff and location goes, a lot smaller but so much more personal and friendly (it is where I started until I moved to mission) You pay a premium for “tanning beds and 24/7” but who really goes to the gym past 11? And majority of people there don’t use the tanning rooms. And the thing that really set me off is that I brought about 7 friends to the gym to sign up with them and had them referred me because I get the month “free” I never received a single month for free.
