Repairs were done in a reasonable period of time and at the price agreed upon. I will contact Antique Clocks and More for an repair or maintenance required for my clocks in the future.

β β β β β I found Antique Clocks & More after a very unfortunate experience with another antique clock repair near Mount Pleasant. Actually, I also called another clock repair in the Avenue Road area and they didn't seem interested in even seeing the clock. Nothing was convenient for them. I guess they didn't want to be in business anymore.
Thankfully I found Antique Clocks & More!!!
My first clock was a French Directoire/Empire period silk suspension that needed a thorough cleaning and a new spring. It has worked without incident for many years since Willem overhauled it.
My second clock is a French Directoire period silk suspension (earlier than the first one) that needed a cleaning and then required a more thorough repair a couple of years later.
Overall we are very pleased with the expertise and transparency when it came to explaining what was needed and what was actually done. We were skeptical at first after such a bad experience with the other repair place. He wouldn't even provide an official receipt!
We HIGHLY recommend Antique Clocks & More.

β β β β β I took our family heirloom Seth Thomas clock in for repairs. Willhelm was friendly, professional and he fixed the clock expertly. My only issue is the clock strikes the hour about 2 minutes early (hence 4, not 5 stars). Willhelm knows his clocks and if I ever have one in need of repair again, his shop will be my first stop. I recommend

β β β β β Was able to repair my Atmos clock that was broken in a move and no longer running. This was over a year ago and clock is running as beautifully as it was before broken, if not better thanks to the service. I paid around $1200 for the overhaul and it took several weeks, but I feel it was a great value to have my clock restored by such an expert.

β β β β β Exceptional professionalism and in depth know-how. Laterally resurrected my grand dad clock from "ashes". The true old school restorer and gentleman that knows what means to stand behind the word.
Although the initial estimation was expectedly high, it appeared that even a longer list of tasks had to be done. Yet the price hardly increased, in fact, only after my patient request to do so. And now, after nearly thirty years of obliviation, the clock is ticking and banging again. The way I remember it. True miracle.
