Amazing fishing. Out post camps are large super clean with superb solar power, hot water and showers. Nothing like your typical camp. A tad expensive however they deliver with great accommodation in the middle of nowhere

This was our second trip to Anderson's Lodge. The first trip in 2018 was amazing, we had an excellent guide, we told the guide we liked to cast for Pike and Bass and thats what we did, for 5 days. We caught a couple of Master Angler fish, a 45" musky and a 40" pike and countless others. Our second trip there in September of 2021 was no where near as enjoyable. The lodge staff was excellent but our guide could care less if we were there to catch fish or not. We explained to him the first day we prefer to cast for Pike and Bass and his response was "I prefer to jig for Walleye" and so that's what we did, an hour boat ride to watch our guide jig for Walleye. After several requests to move to an area to cast for Pike, Jake grumbled and said after lunch. Once in the shallows we scored a few Pike. The second day was the same story, Jake would not take us Pike fishing instead he jigged for Walleye. This went on for 3 days and Jake's attitude became worse and worse. On the forth Day Jake finally took us Pike fishing and we tagged a number of large Pike. What a shame he wouldn't listen to our requests, he made the trip miserable and so we will not be revisiting Anderson Lodge in the future. Your trip will totally depend on your guide, if you want a guide that doesn't smoke you better say something up front, We did and Jake continued to smoke despite our request not to. They need to review with their guides what their job is.

My husband and I took our son and his new girlfriend for dinner. We had a great meal. Food and service were good - a little slow but they were very busy. A bit expensive but there aren't a lot of other options in the area. They cater to the hunting/fishing crowd with interesting animals mounted on the walls. It was blueberry festival so I had the blueberry salmon, which was very good. The bison spring rolls were also very good.

Had a fantastic time enjoying a boat tour and shore lunch a few weeks ago! The fall colours were gorgeous as our guide took us on a detailed tour of Abram and Pelican Lake. We had some family in town, and it gave them a great opportunity to explore the local lakes and learn about the local history as well! Would definitely recommend, especially for those looking to give family and friends a unique local experience.

A great place to fish! The staff are so nice, as are the fishing guides. The food is incredible (Foxy's), but the shore lunches are sumptuous. You are guaranteed to catch fish here. Great place for the family & kids. The memories are for a life time. Can't wait to go back. ?

First our guide Steven was great. He didn't say a lot but he knew the area really well and obviously enjoyed seeing us catch fish. He also prepared some great shore lunches - I'm still full. The lodge is really well set up and the cabins are very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately due to Covid the restaurant was closed; however we were still treated to some great meals! The area is pretty remote and we didn't see more than one or two boats each day while fishing on Lac Seul. Lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery made each day an adventure. Anderson's is not the cheapest lodge to visit - but remember you get what you pay for! Looking forward to a return trip in the very near future.
