Amritsari Kulcha Point - Winnipeg

Great place for Amritsari kulcha, food is authentic and the service is excellent.

Called in to dine in around 3:30pm. Were told that its full and people are waiting. So we agreed to take away. Upon reaching there, we find 1 table vacant and 2 tables vacating and no one waiting. So we asked to be seated, but staff insist us do take away. I thought maybe they are under staffed, so I even offered to help clearing up tables. However realized they were adequately staffed. Staff tells me, we have packed your food, I say nevertheless, I'll eat from take away. So they reluctantly gave us table. After us, with 5 minutes they have 3+2 seperate walking customers and they were offered tables. Anyhow we are served food in a plate with Chickpea Curry and a onion tamarind chutney but our Kulcha Bread was wrapped in a foil. However others were served the same but with good chunk of butter on the kulcha. Least they could have done is remove foil and put butter on it, even though we said we were ok to eat from pack, least expectation from customer service aspect. Paneer kulcha we good with generous stuffing. Aloo kulcha was mediocre in taste. Chickpea Curry was watery and below average in taste or flavors and consistency. Surprisingly owners don't notice this quality and improve . Seems very content with their poor quality. I didn't want to pay, however reading the sign stating "all tips go to staff", hence 1st time paid 25% tip for bad experience, usually this percentage is for exceptional service. This is constructive criticism and hope spending time to write this long review is worth my time and helpful to the establishment. However to sum up they are not doing justice to the global reputation of a renowned product named "Amritsari Kulcha". Good Luck

At good location. as there are very few east indian restaurants in this neighbourhood. Parking could be concern sometimes because inside the small mall parking stalls are very few and odd, moreover people park right behind your vehicle sometimes which blocks almost all the traffic. and outside the restaurant you have to find right spot as there is tow away zone. parking is unnecessarily blocked sometimes. Customer service is avaerage. they have to start working fast, i see people waiting either they have come there for dine in or pickup. food looks ok. but honestly, it is very rare to find authenticated stuff in winnipeg. i want them to work on their parking, customer service as well food quality they have lot of opportunity as they are one of the rare.

We took advice from the staff and decided to dine in instead of take out and it was worth it. As when you do take out, by the time you reach home the food do not remain in same quality because of steam. Thanks for delicious food and great service from staff will visit again.

These guys are doing awesome. The best thing about them is that they do not stop evolving. To deliver the freshness of Amritsari Kulcha just like in restaurant; they stepped up in frozen food industry. You must try their frozen amritsari kulcha and I bet you won’t be disappointed. Good job guys!

Their quality is degrading day by day. When I visited this place for the first time, the naan taste really good. Channe and chutney were abit okish. Not too good frankly. But now, even naan taste soo bad. Its thick, has no taste, over heated and channe was so bad. I have tried other stuff like as well like chaat, momoms, spring rolls, keema naan. Some of them were just pathetic. It taste like its too old. They seriously need to look for their quality. The only thing which taste good to me till date is spring roll.. everything else is just waste of money

One of the best restaurants in Winnipeg. Tried Aloo Kulcha here, Really awesome and yummy. Recommended restaurant. ?? Tried Paneer Tikka Pasta too.. Loved it !!

I order cheese chilli momos in afternoon where I got proper u guys can see in pic and I like lot so I order for my family in evening again and they miss the cheese in that order so when I went for next time I told them about it rather listen me he is just gave me the excuse that I made by my self this all item and without add this it can’t be possible so my question is how the pic can say wrong things clearly it’s seem in pic that there is no cheese He is still try to prove me I am wrong like I never had food and I don’t know the taste or looks this is really frustrating when they don’t want to listen costumer as I use to be manager of food line from last 13 years and I know what costumer service have been. I never expect to much as I am going this location from last 3 years every single week but this time I just got upset cause of he just don’t want to listen and want to prove him self right That’s make me very very upset No doubt about the food,I like that’s y I am going every week but this is done now as I like my respect when they are just want to prove them self than keep your self right.
