It is with great regret that I write this review. My husband has been using Amour Mechanical for years and there service has been great. We moved to our new home that is only 4 years old at the end of June and we wanted to install another washer and dryer. Naturally we wanted to continue to use the company we had trusted for years. A few days later, I was downstairs and noticed the wall, floor and ceiling were wet. There was obviously a leak it was coming from the room where the washer and dryer were installed. We called Will and he sent Owen back out to have a look. Owen came and investigated, he determined that he had not secured a (crimp and not tested it with hot water) a mistake that was made. He said we needed to talk to Will. My Husband called Will, to call him and Will promptly did. Will sent someone out and they came almost immediately. I assumed he was from his insurance company. The man who came was rude and off putting... defensive. He looked and to water damage and completed water readings. He confirmed that water was in the walls and floors. He did bring in dryers and dehumidifiers. However, the dehumidifiers leaked all over the floor both of them, up and down. Not a good start. (We have pictures). Then the gentleman from the insurance company who came starting talking about how they would dry the floor and cut the walls about two feet. He said there was no water in the baulk head (there was, again we have pictures). I was concerned about them just drying the floor it was soaked and the floor is glued vinyl plank. He was not interesting in removing it. I told him I was not comfortable with that. He looked and me and said " what do you want"? "lets have that conversation" I told him I was concerned about mold growing under the floor. He told me mold will not grow on cement. I knew this was not true. I was concerned about his ability to remediate the damage of our home correctly. I understand he was there on Will's behalf and has his interests at heart. My insurance company came out and completed the water readings and to see what remediation needed to be done. He did find water in the baulk head and he did say the floor had to be taken up to dry it. I contacted Will to share with him what our insurance company had said and we wanted to go with our insurance. Will got defensive and sent a text saying who he was choosing to go with and do not have our insurance company contact him. I was so taken back stunned by the response. I understand Wills frustration. Will was in our opinion concerned about the cost of going through his insurance or the cost of the possible repair. At this point given the tone and tenor of the initial conversations. I though it best to go with our insurance. I did not want to fight I just wanted by home repair and restored to it original state. It is important to make clear we were not angry with with Will or Owen. They are both good people and we have had a really great relationship over several years. Mistakes happen and yes it sucks. This is why business have insurance. The end of the day I was informed by my insurance company that Amour Mechanicals insurance is not and will not pay the cost full cost to repair my home as it was. Amours Insurance are only paying part of the claim. These means that we get penalized by losing our claims forgiveness. This was not our fault in any way. We hired a licensed and insured company to install our washer and dryer. The companies insurance will only pay for a patch work repair. We were not asking to be made better we just wanted our home restored as it was just when we bought it. We are sad that this long standing relationship as been damaged. I guess this is how insurance works. I did not expect this to go against us. From what I understand when a company subjugates a claim for you the other parties insurance in most instances almost 99% of the time does not pay the full claim. Please beware. We understand mistakes happen but if they do the company or their insurance should pay to repair it.

Will has been doing our plumbing work for almost 2 decades and just recently completed another job. He is professional and courteous. He has a strong work ethic and the jobs are always completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Will and his company for any plumbing and heating services. B Maher

Called them up with a furnace issue during a cold snap and they immediately came over, assessed the issue, found the necessary part, and had it changed out and fixed within a couple hours. Highly recommend.

We had our steam humidifier installed by Will at Amour, a 5/5 experience. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for, come up with a solution and then was very communicative and timely from scheduling to finish. The service itself went off without a hitch, which was great, and he even helped us with a totally unrelated issue after the successful install - that was just a bonus to us! Currently the heat and humidity is exactly what he said it would be (and where we want it to be). Would definitely look him up for our future HVAC needs, highly recommend.

Had Will & Austin recently remove an older furnace & install a Viessmann Air Handler. I was given ample notice of the installation dates, & the installation went very well, & was professionally done. Had an issue a few days later that Will resolved by 6:00pm. Fair pricing & quality work, would recommend to anyone needing mechanical work done.
