AMJ Campbell - Toronto Movers

My move and storage was great. We had a couple of small issues but nothing serious. My problem is with the after service. AMJ offers $100 CAA Dollars as a benefit to CAA members. We gave our CAA number to the Mississauga office last August, a full six weeks before the final payment of our move out. Then we stored our furniture for four months. When the move to the new house was completed in February and the final payment was made I was told I didn’t give them my CAA number on time. Once I proved to them I did they said ok. It is now June and still no sign of the CAA Dollars. They seem to offer this program but have no interest in following up once they have your money. Two moves and four months of storage was not cheap. The least they could do is follow up on their end. Buyer beware.

Rob and his crew were really amazing! This was the smoothest move in history. I used AMJ Campbell for a move 13 years ago and they were great then so we chose them again this time and I couldn't be happier. Yes they cost more, but when you hear all the horror stories, it's worth every penny. And because they are so efficient, in the end it probably was cheaper than using a bargain company. I totally recommend this company.

Where do I begin, started off fine but halfway through packing the team walked out on us with no replacement till the morning of the movers, chaotic to say the least. With zero reason why they left. The Boss who watched over the move acted like, this has never happened before and was neither sorry or really cared to much about this half done job. The next day we had the movers packing our stuff and not wrapping anything properly or orderly and because of that we had under $600 in damages and broken stuff but also things that meant something to us. It was not worth the insurance to replace them, says my Husband. They mixed garbage and food together in boxes when they assured that wouldn't happen and the worst part for me was I had several disabilities and the kitchen was in the middle of my house to walk from the front door to the back door and the packing lady told me I couldn't go in the kitchen till she was done and blocked it with boxes. When I told her it was to hard to walk around as I was packing stuff too, she said it didn't matter. I had hurting legs and back because of that for several hours. Then they packed a basket of all my important things that I told them not to touch and said they didn't pack it, which they did, it took me over an hour to unpack and find it. No apologies there either. The worst part was my stand up desk completely crushed, that I have waited to have for 30 yrs and will never get again, gone, unfixable. Remotes for our beds, one of them I still cannot find anywhere. The movers should of never had to pack, they are not trained to do that but they had no one else to help. I appreciate them doing the best under these circumstances but the stress level wondering if everything would be done in time and worrying about that all night was simply unprofessional of them to put us through that. Overall I am giving them 1 star cause I have to. I have never seen a move this bad ever in my life and we will never use them again. It was unprofessionalism on their part and bad planning. But we made it, it was better than no movers at all. The worst part is we are both Veterans and we're moving to our dream retirement property that we have been dreaming about for 30 yrs.

AMJ Campbell Toronto could not have been more helpful, nice, and professional. The agent Anthony who I spoke to was knowledgeable and the two movers who came had everything packed up in a couple of hours cheerfully and carefully. Any email query I had was answered immediately, and they made the move painless. I highly recommend this excellent company.

To be honest, I do not move frequently, this is the first time I purchase service from AMJ Campbell. And I have to say, they are worth it. My specialists are Davian and Melissa. Davian helped me confirm every single part of the preparation work, from estimation to signing the agreement, patiently and kindly. Melissa, the coordinator, respond quickly and arranged for the move to go smoothly. All the moving workers are very nice and polite. Meanwhile, professional and effective. The whole process is straightforward and transparent, with no hidden costs.

Had a Way fair delivery scheduled and this was the moving company they hired. Newbie tenant here and wasn't aware there were times that we can't book and that on garbage days we can't have trucks in the back. The movers were super nice and told me to just ask them for a smaller truck to move our stuff. But at the end of the day they were in the area and called me to try delivering again. Went above and beyond and I was very happy that they are so thoughtful and considerate. Highly recommend.

These guys were amazing. The crew that did the packing for us; Mike R, Jeff & Justin were so good and very kind. They worked hard and in a timely manner. They also took their time to wrap some of the items and even fixed the wrapping of some of the items we did. When we gave any direction they listened and did what was asked of them. This team and even David are incredible people and we really enjoyed having them help us in our move. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks to David & the Toronto crew.

Excellent service, good peace of mind, reliable, insured, friendly! AMJ moved my mom in November 2021 and I was so impressed I hired them to move us in January of 2022. The team was on time moving day, was efficient, caring, gentle (on what is a very stressful day), and so darned careful with possessions they are moving. While perhaps a bit more expensive than other companies, the professionalism and care make it worth it!
