★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favorite places! Everytime I go in I'm greeted with a friendly voice and smile.
I always find a beautiful treasure to take home with me.
Various types of crystals in raw and polished form. They have strings of crystal beads, palm stones, samll/large pillars and small tumbled pieces. Prices are good from a few dollars to several hundred.
Pay parking on the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm really impressed; the young owner lady sanded down a craggy stone I wanted because it was chipped on one end. She did it so carefully and nicely, it was amazing! She did it right away too. The shop is a bit cluttered with stones and trays hither thither, but if you take the time to look, you can find some great treasures. There was an adorable Klee Klai there too who didn't bark when I came in, so he knows what is the what. I'd come back, sure! The shop is a bit small though, so if there's a lot of people in there with winter jackets and bags on, prepare to be whacked or bumped into! The one star I took off was because the man owner was talking to a patron saying that COVID was "no different than the flu." Not impressed by that lack of awareness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my daughter to this shop to get some crystals. She really loved it and so did I ! They have so much to choose from and really something affordable for everyone . My daughter fell in love with a crystal that was out of my budget , they were kind and caring enough to let us have it for what we could afford and also gave her some cosmic knowledge . It was a beautiful experience and we will definitely be making amethyst creations one of our regular spots :) we had so much fun and highly recommend this shop , you will leave feeling energized and absolutely happy !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been shopping at Amethyst Creations my whole life. There is a lovely selection of stones, gems, fossils and more in a variety of shapes and sizes. The owner and his daughter are knowledgeable and kind. Walking into this shop I am immediately relaxed and inspired by all of the beautiful rocks. I feel this shop is great for people of all ages. This is a must see, Vancouver classic spot, a hidden gem ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This small unassuming rock and mineral store really packs a punch. Excellent selection for the amount of space they have and inventory is always being refreshed with new items. Prices are more than fair... the folks that run the store are nice and helpful and will go out of their way to find what you are looking for if they have it in the back. I was able to buy a beautiful celestite crystal of good colour and size a few months ago from here and they had better value and quality than the other places I visited. I fully recommend Amethyst Creations to all crystal and rock lovers!
