mother on a low sodium diet and everything is loaded with salt
fruit that they put out is old and rotten never ever fresh, can't believe what we pay on a monthly basis and what is received.
We grocery shop weekly for our mom and purchase fresh fruit, milk, bread, etc make meals for her that she can make in her microwave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My name is Michael Czuboka. I was asked by Historica Canada to give a talk to the residents of Amber Meadow on Sunday, May 8th, 2016. Elizabeth Alba of Amber Meadow told me during a telephone conversation last Thursday that a gentleman by the name of Jeff would meet me when arrived. I arrived precisely at 11:00 a.m. as directed. I found Jeff in his office but he did not know who I was or why I had arrived. He said that many residents were away because of Mothers' Day, and that I would have to wait until 12:30 p.m., 90 minutes later, to see if anyone would attend my talk. After further discussion we agreed that there was not much point in me waiting, and I left. I left Jeff a complimentary copy of my new novel "Manifest Destiny", which is based on the Korean War. I also left him with 24 information sheets about this novel. During our telephone conversation Elizabeth Alba told me that bringing a copy was a good idea, and that residents would probably be interested. I trust that Jeff will, in fact, share this novel and information sheets with the residents. I was, of course, very disappointed by my reception at Amber Meadow. I came as an unpaid volunteer. I drove a considerable distance. I spent a lot of time preparing a talk. I cancelled a golf game with my daughter in order to meet my commitment at Amber Meadow. We all err from time to time, and this was a mix-up and lack of communication of some kind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at Amber Meadow has become increasingly bad. Some is not edible. They must have a farm that specializes in green beens because it seems to be a daily diet.
They used to be a place where they were noted for excellent food. Either the previous Chef has died or forgotten how to cook.
Personally I think they are cutting corners on the food at the the expense of the residents to increase corporate profits.
Think twice before moving here.

Everyone is so friendly, they said the good is great, there is even a stove where people can cook, it's also very clean.
I'm very glad they can make them happy and feel better ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This assisted living facility has always gone the extra mile taking very good care of all of there tenants especially during Covid.They have kept everyone safe during these scary times by implementing strict rules and staff going the extra mile. Thank you all for taking such good care of our mother.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you understand everything you are signing before you place your loved ones in this place, they are snakes and "sleazy salesman" who will tell anything to get you to sign a lease.
If your loved one decides to leave you will be charged an extra month even though they won't be living here.
My dad will be leaving this month (April 2022) and is forced to pay $2800 for May as well, the people that run these places are simply out to make a buck and do not care about your family members they are simply a monthly payment to these people.
For what my father was paying to stay here quite honestly I found it lacking service and in my opinion the food was awful for what he was paying, I had to buy him extra snacks because his blood sugar was often so low that it was causing him health concerns.
I was also informed today that the cleaning staff dropped his toothbrush on the bathroom floor did not inform him and just put it back.
Just your typical corporate greed.
