Brought my gf and kid there. Never again. Literally didn't cut half my hair and nearly took hers all off.

Very good service, from kids cuts to really long hair the lady that runs this shop is excellent.

First time bringing my kids in there and I was very impressed with her time and quality of a haircut she gave my kids plus my young 18th month old baby got her ears pierced and the lady was so gentle and kind with my daughter, I will recommend her to my friends and family, and will be returning

The owner Trang is excellent ,fast ,friendly and reasonable. This shop is so clean compared to other hair places. Me and my wife go there and we live 30 miles away. Worth the trip. Highly recommend

Asked for a fade and received to get a buzz cut

I saw the sign on the street and noticed the low prices. Thought I'd bring my son in for a trim just to check out the place. We came without an appointment and she had cut my son's hair in about 20 minutes. Did a decent job.

I bring my son there for his haircuts and we are always happy with the results! We never make an appointment and are always in and out quick. Great service, clean facility and you can not beat the price!

I am not one to write negative reviews. However on November 29, 2019 I had an awful experience at Amanda's Beauty Salon. First and foremost, I need it to be known that I am a journeyman hairstylist. I moved to the city about 4 years ago, and I have been trying to find a quality stylist because mine left the city. I decided to check out Amanda's Beauty Salon because the reviews were decent. The owner sat me in her chair and we discussed what I was looking to get. I told her that I wanted it trimmed, and that I have an A-line bob cut into my hair. An A-line bob is shorter in the back and longer in the front. The owner said she had 15 years of experience so I did not think I needed to explain this. We decided on an inch trimmed off. She made it a "one length" bob; which is not one length as the right side of my hair is shorter than the left side. Coming into the salon, my hair was around my shoulders. It is now slightly above my jaw line. Leaving the salon, I burst into tears and upon coming home my partner said we should go talk to them. I was reluctant at first, but I decided hey, if I can help a fellow stylist in her journey, then okay. When we went there, the owner came up to us after finishing with another client, and she started to argue that the haircut is good. I agreed that the back was good, but the front was not. And she said she did exactly what I wanted, and I said no, I wanted an A-line bob. And she was arguing with me about what an A-line bob was. She said she cut an inch off all around, but because I had an A-line bob cut into my hair prior (longer in the front), I know that the front of my hair would have had more than an inch off! There were many odd things about my experience. For instance she started to cut it dry, then wet a spot by my nape, and then cut the rest dry. Then she went back with clippers and cut it with the clippers. THEN she went back and cut it again. After that was all said and done, she went to style it... she stopped... went to flat iron it again... WET it.. and cut again! Finally she went to flat iron it all while the nape of my hair was still damp and she said that it would be fine. As a stylist, you need to have your hair dry before you put any heat source like that on it. I was extremely frustrated when coming back to voice my concerns because she did not want to hear me out. When my partner asked if we could get our money back, she said no... which I expected. But, the one thing that BLOWS me out of the water is that she never apologized for making me upset. Regardless if she thought it was a good haircut, an apology would have gone a long way. So do I recommend this place? Absolutely not. Not just because of the bad hair service, but because of the bad customer service. I am completely appalled that this happened. This is what I get for not doing more research on salons near me.
