This company was recommended by one of my contractor. Two years ago I order sliding door from Home Depot and it was so-so, heavy and I did not find them a good quality. I shopped around for a good sliding door. I contacted many companies. My main ask is to prevent sound and ensure no see throw screens. A few companies I contacted told me straight out that they don't offer what I am l looking for. Jakob Daniels was the agent I spoke with at Alumcomplete. Everything I asked for I was told he can provide. I was happy and over the moon since his quote was about $800 cheaper than another company I was planning go with. Sadly what I got is not what I was promised. The sliding doors looks like a closet, you can see throw the doors and no sound blocking whatsoever. My closet offers more privacy than the sliding doors. I was shocked, and totally upset. I honestly didn’t know what to do. The installer already installed the track into my brand new lamented flooring. If I asked him to remove it and send the door back, I would have holes in my floor. Not to mention I waited for 8 weeks for the door to arrive. I needed the door badly since I had someone living with me who needed the privacy the door would offer. When I spoke to Jakob I expressed my frustrations. I even took some of the blame. Doing things over video is not a good idea. His respond was he was clear with everything and I am the idiot. To make a story short I asked for a reduction in price. What I have installed is a cheap product, which is not worth what I have paid. His respond was I have created all this fuss to get a discount. I contacted his boss who defended him; he said he just says things as he sees them, meaning the same thing as Jakob. He did drop the price but I wish I have insisted to get my money back and returned the stupid thing. Every time I look at the ugly sliding door and every time I hear the clear sound coming from the small room I know I have made the biggest mistake of my life. I feel like a fool for allowing this Jakob guy to fool me into such a bad purchase. Looking at door reminds me of my stupidity every single day.

i had sliding doors installed just recently in my master bedroom covering my closet. It combined Frosted glass and marmolite. They did a great job in making them and the installation was great. i am super happy with the finished product. i have another closet that I may get replaced also. I will definitely go back to this company.
