Took a lawnmower in for service. It took over a week for the technician to look at it. I called multiple times to see if ithe technician look at the lawnmower. It was on a Friday in the afternoon a sales Rep finally called me, stated the lawnmower is broken and cannot be fix. The technician charge $ 99.99 was just for look about 30 minutes. Because I called earlier and they didn't even look at the lawnmower. Horrible customer service, I will never use Apline Lawn & Garden Equipment again.

I have been dealing with Alpine for 30 years. I have never had a bad experience other than being more than welcome at every visit. Sometimes Dom, Pat and Rocky have been very busy and I have waited patiently for 20 minutes or so, while they served the others with the same professional manner as they serve me. Thanks. People have asked me where I have bought my lawn and gardening equipment and I advise them to go to Alpine with confidence. Service and sales are excellent. Thank you Alpine for the many years of service and many more.

Alpine Lawn & Garden Repairs and Parts is great! They have every part imaginable for mowers and trimmers - even for antique equipment like mine. I not only got the part I had searched all over Toronto for but got it installed in a jiffy. Friendly and efficient staff that go above and beyond. A very well managed business!

Bought a Honda lawn mower few years back. It has auto choke, no priming required. After 2 years, there were instances failing to start up at start of season. Carried to Alpine, technician start it without problem at one or two pull but suggested to conduct a maintenance for $100 something. Brought it home, it fared well for the year. Next year, the same issue came up. After multiple pull, it worked again. Wonder if it is the flaw of auto-choke ICE lawn mower. Priming another older Briggs and Stratton just works. Ideally, performing the recommended after and before seasonal maintenance would keep any machine in perfect working order when demanded. But for an old layman, an electric mower might be a better choice. Recently gone through the reviews of various vendors coming across before and found negative experiences abound. It has been existential with any trade that involve servicing personnel's talent, skill, honesty and credibility, also company profit. Poking around the Google Maps Reviews may help to pick the not too bad ones!

Fantastic family run business. I own a house in Toronto on the Scarborough Bluffs so I have become an amateur landscaper due the nature of my backyard. Alpine has given me many tips and suggestions that have saved me time and money. The service and knowledge is incredible and Alpine always has time for in depth conversations regarding my lawn equipment. I needed an extension tube for my Stihl Blower Vac and instead of waiting for a delivery, Alpine took one off a new model in their showroom and gave me a fantastic price. If you have lawn equipment that you are not using, Alpine will sell at on consignment for a more than reasonable charge. Presently, Alpine is selling my Billy Goat Leaf Vacuum. In addition to great conversations, prices and service, when I visited Alpine on a Friday morning, they set up a table with complementary coffee and "Quiche". Thank you Alpine.

Hate to have to write a negative review, but I feel in that case I'm obliged to. I called Honda Canada regarding my snowblower and was directed to reach out to my local dealer. I spoke to a gentleman with some questions regarding the machine, engine model, as well as parts. I inquired about the difference between two model codes and they were unable to tell me. Furthermore, I asked for the part numbers for 4 different engine parts so I could do more research online and verify the parts diagram I've found was applicable. I was adamantly told they don't give out part numbers because "we just don't do that". If I wanted, the only option was to come in and purchase them directly. Always best to find out the part number after you've already purchased the part... I've never had a dealer refuse to give me a part number to cross reference before. I planned on purchasing OEM Honda parts via this dealer, but I'll be using a different one now.

Bought an expensive commercial mower from them in the spring. In late fall had to do routine maintenance. I called in advance to see if the parts were there and they said yes. I got there and it took like 20 mins to find the part they told me they had. I go home in the middle of the big procedure only to find out they gave me the wrong part....they don't have the right part(hoping?) LUCKY another dealer had it. cost me 2 trips at $15 in gas each. Bought a used snowblower from them 2 weeks ago($600). they said as is. I said well what did you do it it? uninterested mumbling and walking away he says well the spark plugs, oil and something else minor.(how did I know what was about to happen, i should have known better) The thing has been leaking gas since the first use. 2 emails sent and no response , and if they had of fixed it , which I guess they aren't, would have been another 2 trips at $15 in gas each time... Go elsewhere This is how they deal with someone who just dropped $11,000 This is a business owner?

I was impressed by the knowledge of the staff, in particular Rocky. He is very thorough, a master mechanic/technician and incredibly honest. My crew and I have been a regular for many years and Rocky is always willing to help and go the extra mile. No where else in the GTA will you get the personal attention and expert assistance that this family owned specialty shop can offer. Ask yourself which you prefer, anonymity from inexperienced kids at Home Depot or up-close and personal attention from Alpine Lawn and Garden.
