★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming here steady since 2013 and I am never disappointed, the food is always delicious delicious and the staff are always very friendly.
I would recommend anyone who enjoys authentic halal cuisine to visit this restaurant.
Also the location is really convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really like Almira's. The staff is very friendly and the food is fantastic. My only complaint is that sometimes the donair beef is dry and crusty from sitting in the Bain Marie rather than being sliced fresh from the donair. I do get why a restaurant would do this it's just not ideal as the customer. I personally think the large donair has a bit too much meat (the meat to veggie ratio is off) but that's just my personal preference so no points lost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked into their restaurant while in Okotoks and seeking a healthy light meal.
Their Chicken Taouk was just the right portion, quite succulent, paired with rice and their fried potatoes. Crisp and fresh. As was their Falafel, again, fresh and delicious.
They also had Alberta-brewed Root Beer available, much better than some of the offerings from the larger chains; happy to support local small businesses.
Recommend giving them a try if in the area, they are not likely to disappoint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stoped for lunch with my whole family, and had great time. Best donair I had in many years, home made fries and chicken wings to lick your fingers. The employees are very friendly and polite.
If you are in Okotoks, this is a must go place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could eat here everyday... well I probably would! I love this place. I have been a customer for many years and have never had a bad experience. Its always my daughters first choice of takeaway and shes 11! My recommendation is a mixed meat salad with all the veggies. My wife's however would be their take on a poutine!

The place is spotless and the food MY GOODNESS THE FOOD...spectacular!!! If you haven't gone GO. You won't regret it. If I could go daily I would, everything is so fresh! Best in Alberta!
