★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just switched over to Allstate bc I get a discount from work! Biggest mistake of our lives! The poor customer service and the lack of knowledge is awful! The manager Paul Vaughan at the Barrie location, does not return calls or emails, he does not care about his clients and Allstate as a whole does not care. It’s impossible to get a hold of anyone and wait times are too long, my old insurance provider was more expensive but definitey had better customer service, I will be definitely looking into switching back to them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They will happily sign you up and take your money but good luck ever getting ahold of them again. I have been calling for three days now, 3 times per day, have sat on hold for over 30 minutes each time and never got an answer. Have emailed the office asking for someone to call me, no reply or phone call. I ended up calling the main call centre, who said they can't help me but would contact the office on my behalf and ask them to call me, and they still haven't reached out! I shouldn't have to work this hard to speak to someone who I pay $200/month to!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No one there because of covid. On hold for 1hour 51 minutes to be answered by someone who had no idea how to help me. Told me i needed a letter from my lawyer to update my mortgage info .still don't know if its happened. So much for being in good hands!. EDIT to original review ,after my original post i was contacted by Colleen who worked with my bank and resolved everything . My thanks I'm now a happy camper!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were pleasant to deal with when signing up. Cheapest insurance for a motorcycle period! Unfortunately to cancel you have to write a letter and hand it in like you're sick in high school. No other insurance has required that when canceling. Ridiculous

I've been with them for 4 years until had an accident and filed a claim. The worst experience with an insurance company ever! You can't get a hold of anyone, they don't answer calls or reply to emails, they simply ignore you and count on you getting tired of trying and go away. Don't waste your money and get your insurance elsewhere!
