★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a great little hike that I did with my five year old. Start at Chinook lake, follow the trail by the overflow on the south east end. Go about 500m till you see a snowshoe sign and a small rock cairn. Take the small path witch immediately starts to follow Allison Creek. There are two Creek crossings and some slanted/steep parts, most people can do it but don't attempt if you are not good on your feet. Water shoes always work good so you could just hike in the creek instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Allison Creek Falls can be accessed from Chinook Lake or, in the winter, from the winter parking area. An un-marked dirt trail leads off of Rainbow Run to the falls. The falls are very enjoyable, worth the short hike in. Be prepared that you may need to cross the creek a few times. As well, be bear aware and prepared.
