Good place, be careful on the approach road- washed out in summer, snowed in in winter. Hike the bottom to the falls or circle up to a ridge for a view of the valley

A great little 20min hike. After runoff season the waters are low enough to climb through the canyon right to the fall. Wear good shoes as there is a small ledge to climb that is slippery at times (shown in picture 2)

A nice little loop tucked away in west Coalman. The trail can be a little hard to decipher if you haven't done it before. Take any of the trails following the creek and you can do a loop up top the falls (around 2kms). A good distance for kids, but there are a number of loose/steep sections as well.

This one is an interesting one. Parking is simply along a road that eventually turns into a 4x4 only road. Get out and start walking toward the rocky hill. Watch out for pick ups. They were coming and going (carrying tubes to chill in the creek). It's obviously a big ATV riding area also (we didnt see or hear any) as the trails are wide, rocky and clearly marked as quading trails. As for the walking trail that takes you to the falls... nothing. No signage whatsoever. It's a pretty confusing. Ask others if anyone is around as to which direction to go. Hint, ignore all trails until you get down close to the creek. Then you'll see the trail, big as ever, following the creek. But until you get down there the bank and trees hide everything. By the time we figured this out we had been eaten by mosquitoes from being in the trees on the quad trails and unfortunately my wife rolled her ankle on said quad trail so she played out quickly after that. Never made it to the falls, just along the creek.

Beautiful area located very close to Coleman, Alberta. 3.5 km round trip to do the upper rim of the canyon and into the canyon to the waterfall. There is a steep, slippery section before the waterfall but there is a chain that can help. We've only been in the area during the winter, excited to see it in the spring and summer.

Great hike, short about 2 km, but fun. A little technical, going up the chain, but worth it when you get around the corner.

Short scenic little hike. The trails are very braided, but it seems at least most lead to the same place.

Stopped by these falls on a cross Canada road-trip, I would later realize this was one of my favourite spots! Unlike other places where its packed with people, this was a quiet, beautiful hike. Slight challenge, which made it feel even better when you got to the falls. Highly reccomend!
