★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came by here today as my first paid scrap metal trip (typically I go to the city and recycle for free but I had some heavy stuff this time around).
While I only encountered 2 staff members (one doing traffic and the lady at the cashier), both were very friendly people despite how chaotic things were. The cashier noticed it was recently my birthday and gave me a hat and key chain magnet as a gift.
I also realized the rate I got on the receipt was higher than I anticipated.
All around they made an awesome first impression for me and I will definitely be returning for future trips despite the 45 minute drive for me.
I appreciated the service despite only have about 220lbs of metal - peanuts compared to the trucks that pull in but I was treated with the same service.
Side note as someone in a customer facing industry - you guys have done a great job at putting some personable people at the front end although I'm sure your yard workers are awesome people too!
